Well, at first I turned off any music that was crappy, so most of it. Then after a while when I got my TV in my room, I set it up in between my stereo speakers. If GT4 had more realistic sound (C'mon, NFS:MW kicked it's ass here) then I'd listen to the cars, but now, I just jack up 98ROCK and race.

It'd be really nice if one could substitute their own music into the game, much like in SimCity 4 or some of the racing games by CodeMasters.

I'd vote for including "Jessica" by the Allman Brothers as one of the top driving songs.

i love arlo's runaround and some of the other ingame songs, but since i moved to tv right next to the computer in my room (so i could browse gtp AND drive fast!) i usually listen to music over the net.

The wonders of modern technology eh!

I also quite like the allman brothers, jessica inparticular. Its pretty much the top gear tune, like at the beginning and at about a minute and a half in when it goes quiet.

Stoner Rock as in Kyuss and other such bands? Just last night, I turned off all the music in GT4 because I finally got tired of it. Then I listened to Dredg and Cake on my PMP's built in speakers. I left SFX on though. I love the sound of the cars.

Never heard of them. I went through the stoner music phase last year. My math teacher gave me a Kyuss CD and I loved it. Lots of things about driving in their songs. If I had my license, they'd be on a playlist to listen to while driving.

When I play gt,i always turn off the music,but let the sfx on,so i can hear how the sounds the cars make , i used my mp4 as my music.I usually set my mp4 to play rock songs only,when I race with tough competition......, those rock songs always makes wanna beat the competition why not you try it!?

Same here, I just play GT4 with the SFX sound on! If I wanted music I would just open up my iTunes and play one of the many albums that I have on my iPod..... Well I'll just listen to any song that was on my mind at that moment, whether it is Alternative, Emo, Rock, Punk Rock, Metal, Rap, Hip Hop, Jazz, J-Pop, pretty much anything....

I mostly listen to Daki Kasho on the in-game music. Whenever I get tired of it I just put my Ipod on its dock and put it on shuffle.
