Gran Turismo PSP Price drop to $19.99

Sony just announced on it's blog that it's going to start doing it's Greatest Hits titles on the psp and among these is Gran Turismo on the psp

Not sure if anyone is still thinking bout picking it up. But at 20 dollars, it's hard to go wrong

We already had GT PSP for 17.90 euros for about a month earlier this year in the EUR PSN Store, so 19.90 dollars should be a good guess ! An dusually, when they are "Platinium", they're only 9.90 euros...

Thats 20 US dollars, and I'm assuming you picked it up for 60NZ dollars yes? You may have missed the promotion over Easter for the PSN Store where the game was 35NZ dollars for 2 weeks. Its also not platinum in NZ yet, so its still 69.99rrp NZD here.

I was going to post this but I see you guys already have. I am thinking about picking it up though. And how soon do games usually go to greatest hits? It seems very quickly for GT PSP and it must mean GT5 is right around the corner and they're trying to get as many GT PSPs out the door before release

I'm just gonna go off of a statement from e3 awhile back in 06

"To qualify for the program, a title would have to have been on the market for at least nine months and sold 250,000 titles or more."

and so technically it's in it's 9th month in sales with over a million sold so i guess it counts

either way i dont see any reason to complain

I'm not really complaining, but it just seems like even Sony knows it wasn't a solid title (if it was a huge seller I don't think they would price drop it so soon) and definitely when GT5 hits no one is probably going to buy it anyway.

I'm willing to bet GT5 won't hit greatest hits for 2 years
