In with @Fezzik for the 6pm slot. Armed with a cup of tea and 2 biscuits I was ready to tackle the track. I had moderate success here in GTS depending on the combo. But I do enjoy driving the track. (More-so than the short course)
I managed a decent P4 on the grid with a time 4 to 5 tenths faster than my meagre practice laps. Seeing as I was far up I decided braking away from those behind was the better option and stayed on Mediums.
Start was clean. The Jag in front was over the 90's Supra in P2. It got passed. The in the final uphill before the bridge the Supra forgot to turn. (Not recommended) So I was up into P3 and a podium.
P1 was too fast. P2 was just a little quicker than me and I pulled a little on P4. In this nice gap I was able to drive my own race and not worry about any pressure and none came from my brain either. Towards the end of my stint the car behind closed a little whilst I did the same to P2. The 3 of us came in on lap 9. Both me and the Jag were on Meds but P4 was on hards. I knew he would have the pace on me so I was now hoping he would bin it at some point.
I stayed ahead for a couple of laps but when the overtake came into T1 I let it happen. They pulled enough time one me for it not to be worth my while to fight. Besides the M6 was fine on the meds but did not like the hards one bit! Another hard to med runner passed me later on too and whilst I made them go the long way around into T3 I again wasn't going to fight too hard. The last couple of laps were a case of keeping it on the road as I had a 15 second gap behind. So P5 in the end for 60 odd points which will become my highest.
Will see what my randomisation process brings for the next season.

I wondered what happened. I checked the replay and saw you did a hard to hard on lap 1. We've all been there. Live and learn and all that. Nice to see you on track.@OJBrit nice to see a familiar name in the lobby for once. Less said about the rest of my race, the better.
(there was a reason I was last, 1 minute behind. I’m not really that slow)
Dropped 1200 DR points with one major f-up, I don't race a whole lot in one go so that'll take a while to recover.
This was the last one this season. No news yet on when the next will start.Hi all, only got to enter the manufacturers cup on this round, good race, unfortunately a lot of dirty drivers😒 does anybody know if there will be more rounds in this season, and If not when will we have season 2?
