CHEEZY INTRO TO GST
Grand Sport Touring (GST) is basically another name for Grand Touring or Grand Turismo as the Italians would say. GT racing started after World War II in about the 1950's. Regulations required two-seat interiors, spare tires, luggage capacity, and, most importantly, GT-class cars could be and were driven to the track, raced, and driven home; in other words, they were street legal. This spot race focuses on that type of car.

THE RULES
1-First of all there is NO CHEATING. If you are not sure what I mean by “cheating,” check your OLR Rules and FAQ.
2-Try to stay on the track (for your own good). I understand you may not have total control of your car at all times and may go off the road. You CANNOT cut chicanes or corners!
3-When racing, try as many times as you want and just submit your best time. After all, this is a learning experience, too.
4-If you retire from the series you are always welcome to come back at any time. I seriously doubt you'll win, but it'll be fun anyway! ;)
5-The second most important rule (besides no cheating, of course) is to mod your car correctly. You don't want to be caught cheating and you don't want to be left in the dust.
6-Once you chose your car for the series you must keep that car throughout the series.
7-Once you have chosen your car, you cannot change it back! Chose wisely!
8-There is no limit as to how many people can choose an individual car.

RACE PROCEDURE
This is how I expect you to run in the series. (1) Sign up and select your car. (2) We race. The times are due at 12:00 midnight PT, on the Friday of that week. Submit all times to hines8705@hotmail.com. (3) I give the results throughout the weekend. I will try to do stories for each race like Fogelhund does for his Historic Sportscar Series (best series in the world :D) (4) This proccess repeats for every race we have.
