I don't have a capture card, so I had to operate from my webcam. Now take a look at these two videos. As opposed to showing you these videos, I've provided links. Both have the same TV problem I have. Since I use Multi-Out rather than an RF switch, I use the TV's Auxillary input to play. And so, this old TV (which is DTV ready!) has this red window saying "AUX" and the time. All you need to know is that I'm loaded with cash and ammo in both games. Don't expect driving finesse, especially considering I'm trying to race the course with the challenge of the 5-0 on my tail. I came up with unique names to note the key areas to traverse.
Grand Theft Auto 3 - Staunton Island Course:
* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eb8IQFprTTo (3:08 in length)
NOTES: Staunton Island is my favorite since you can do so much more here than you can at Portland or Shoreside Vale. I've gotten some Wanted Stars to make the run more challenging. I usually operate these with four stars. You can make out what the route is simply by following the model I've provided. This was a safer route I took. A past route I've taken is risky- instead of taking that off-road excursion on the grass, basically fly off the highway and try to land on the road below on all fours.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - "Targa Vice City"
* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRV59d8F7NE (5:04 in length)
NOTES: "Waste him, we're always right!" This "targa" course I've come up with starts at the safe house at Vice Point. This track covers almost all points of Vice City besides Prawn Island, Viceport, and Downtown. The bright flash after crossing the second bridge was just a way to get around the "Greetings from Vice City" screen that can be such a distraction. At 3:06, I got up to three stars. Crossing into Little Haiti and Little Havana is more like a proper rally course with the narrow roads. The car (thankfully) wasn't destroyed in this run. I sometimes do this with four stars as well. Funny observation: I got warning stars after I heard "you almost killed me!"
If I have any more to share (I have a few more courses I make), I may share some. But if any of you have any interesting courses to take, share them. I chose both of these games because they seem more forgivable and fun than any GTA since "GTA: San Andreas." That's not to say none of them aren't good, though. If there are any other interesting courses you've come up with, feel free to share.
