Scrolling the Internet it seems like this is the last Grid game. EA is mainly focusing on F1 & WRC. I think they will also continue Need for Speed
I hope not. There's definitely a gap in the market next year for a GRID game. There's nothing well known for a driving game until ACE and PMR neither of which will get full release till at least ?2026?

So far it looks deader than a door knob. Grid Legends didn't sell well either or least to EAs expectations so that didn't help.

Being a little tired of gt7 I decide too give grid legends another try this time on my ps5 pro not ps4 and wow I must say it looks great.

Grid Legends can be fun especially you get nemesises and they try to wreck through out the race
Gonna be honest: There have been times where I intentionally made one angry (Its usually a Ravenwest driver or Rick Scott, because all my homies hate Ravenwest) and then immediately proceed to make some dicey passes on some cars in front just to put a blockade between me and them

I think have about fur of them and it always fun trying to navigate between them and try to get other cars in between me & them 🤣

It's great fun until you start behind all your nemeses on a street circuit and they constantly ram you into the walls. I tried one race about 20 times trying to get past, finally realized it was better to tank race 1 so I could start the 2nd one at the front. It's a really dumb game at times.

I mostly like the racing but the career is just a bit too dull and repetitive going through rookie, semi-pro, pro, etc. For all those GT7 fans wanting a return to GT League like this, be careful what you wish for.

The 120fps setting is very nice with my new TV. Don't really notice the drop in resolution, an advantage of the less photo-realistic style.

Yeah it can be kinda of repetitive and grindy the economy here is crappy as well. I did find a way to get some credits fairly quickly though. I will at least say the car prices in the game are not as bad as GT7. They do have a nice selection of cars though. I love the race creator and being able to set up 4 races at a time. So you can kinda sort of set up a championship
edit: also you can use all of the cars in that mode unlike GT7 where is is cars you own for the most part

The Story mode races seem to be the quickest way to earn cash. I'm a late starter, have been playing the weekly events to level up and using cash from the story mode to buy the team/driver upgrades first, before I start on the main game.

There's a story mode race I think it is 22 or 23 where it is an elimination race with the open wheel car. You start in 1st place and if you go off to right on to the grass you get eliminated but your teammate will get somewhere near the top and you get like 12000 -14000 cr for 10 seconds. Make sure you leave the race and don't restart or you won't be able to keep your money. I use this when I when I want to get some quick credits. All told between the race and leaving the race may take like 30 seconds. So you can get a lot of money really quick. I posted the exact method somewhere in this thread but I haven't found it yet. Also I have read if you drive backwards you get DQed faster
