Since it was not that used in Gran turismo 2 I have always imagined Polyphony Digital never liked the track much... Just guessing but it would make sense in a way
The section where there is a train track is what amuses me. Also, whenever i hear about this track the music "Now's the time" from Crystal Method comes to my mind.
Abso-freakin-lutely best track in the game, with the possible exception of Red Rock Valley. I get sad every time I scan track list announcements for GT releases and it's not there.
In the PSP version of Gran Turismo there was a code called: grindelvald_ps2
So I think it was planned but not finished like Tahiti road in GT3 or Red Rock Valley for the PSP version.
There is an Assetto Corsa mod that is of an amazingly good quality. A good taste that surpasses the best moments of PD. That's what the GT needs. New minds, a new spirit.
This track needs a modern version like the one above. The fact that the first sector consists of a constant climb is really magnificent and super unique for a circuit.
