Group C Endurance League, 3/22/25, 8. 2 Hours of Tokyo East (CCW), Open 7pm, Qualifying 8pm, Race 8:45pm Eastern USOpen

Replay posted. Glad I checked it. The DNFs are scored incorrectly. Thank you everyone who attended tonights race. I've decided to keep the new tire wear settings. I'm also removing RH as an option. So players don't accidentally use them. We are off next week for the 12 hours of Sebring. Next race is 2 hours of Tokyo Expressway East Counter Clockwise or East Inner Loop. The 2nd longest one. The East layouts can be difficult to setup for. Good luck see you in 2 weeks.

That's strange. You can see me downshifting for the chicanes then upshifting mid corner to reduce tire spin. Auto won't do that
I think we just discovered a glitch with Spectator Mode then. It's not really game breaking. So I doubt it's a priority if PDI even knows about it.

Hey guys we are about 10 days out of next. Perfect timing for 10 day forecast. Rain is possible at Tokyo Expressway East Counterclockwise. And I'm getting reports that weather may be in the area.

Reminder guys no race this weekend. We got 4 in a row after this weekend. To the sport car racing fans 73th 12 Hours of Sebring this Saturday. I hope we see this flat but, incredibly bumpy race track in Gran Turismo some day. As for our upcoming events. I'm going to start posting details for the following race at Tsukuba as well for Tokyo East Counterclockwise. Tsukuba is located in the Northern suburbs of Tokyo. By far the shortest commute between races.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of posting. After over 2 years of no show. Our landlord is actually coming check on his rental house this Wednesday. I much of my weekend involved cleaning up the house. I did manage to watch the portions of 12 hours of Sebring. Another Sebring overall 1, 2 and class win by Porsche. I believe that makes it 19 Sebring wins for Porsche. Anyways 4 races in a row for us starting this Saturday. The 2 Hours of Tokyo Expressway East Counterclockwise. Followed shorter races at Tsukuba, Watkins Glen Long, Brands Hatch GP before our Easter break. See you soon.

Only 2 days to our next race. And the start of a 4 week stretch of races. This weekend's race the 2 hours of Tokyo Expressway East Counterclockwise. The 2nd of 5 of these 2 hours race this season. These 2 hours are extremely condensed 24 hours.

I choose to make this race 2 hours. Because I've realized out of every Japan does for the world of motorsports. I'm not aware of a 24 hours race taking place in Japan. Non of their real tracks in game have 24 hours time of day. So completely ignoring the major logically issues. To close down part of the highway system in most populated city on the planet. In order to host a 24 hours race plus setup and cleanup. So here you go 24 hours race in Japan.

There will be a lot of pit stops at Tokyo for tagging a curb. What is the over/under line for total average pit stops??

That a good question. I can get about 13 to 14 laps on fuel out of the Jaguar. High average speed means a lot mileage covered. So I'm guessing 4 to 5 stops minimum. Weather may be a factor especially in the afternoon at the end of the race. Surprisingly the track has a lot of grip even in the wet. Lap times don't drop that much. Well unless it starts puddling.

Another good question for this race is if I'm running the correct amount of downforce. I settle on something but, I won't know the results until the race Saturday.

The Mazda 787B '91 is available for purchase in the Legends Dealer for 3,300,000. The Nissan R92CP '92 and Jaguar XJR-9 '88 are also still. The Jaguar XJR-9 '88 is listed as Limited Stock. Not sure if this is day 1 or 2.
