I can't guarantee that I can host all of these rooms, but if anyone wants to open a room and needs somewhere to post the number I figure this is the best place to do it. Last year Forcednduckshn (Nick) ran similar rooms, but I haven't seen him around lately so I thought I would post up this thread to get us started. 👍

Normally these rooms are done with cars from the Recommended garage, but it may also be a good idea to locate the following cars if you don't already have them:

(All stock - NO MODS - All Premium)

- Nissan 370Z
- Nissan GT-R Black Edition
- Nissan 370Z Tuned GT Academy
- Nissan GT-R GT Academy
- Nissan Leaf
- Nissan Skyline 370GT
- Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R

Are people such as myself allowed to pop in? Or do you want to keep it exclusive to those who can actually participate?

For the European Folks, I've been hosting some TT runs with the odd race (Offering tips and help of course), and GTP_Dessy has been hosting some races mainly with the 370z on Sports Hards :)!

I'd like to join some of these spec sessions at some point 👍 Not tuning sounds easy enough for me :) At least I get to benefit from the academy in a form of good racing.

I'll probably join one of these at some point as well, I didn't do that last time but I think this time around it will help. :D

This should be a fun way to peak into alien lines 👍
Sadly online vs offline physics are so different that it won't make for good practice.
I have already found a couple great rooms running GTA practice. Seems like all the good drives came out of hiding again, the pace is blazing in open rooms again :).

Hey guys, long time no see since last GT academy. I'm down for spec racing.

Edit: How do you get the Nissan 370Z Tuned GT Academy? I never got a download code.

Will you be offering any driving tips to us less talented folks to help us along?

Feel free to friend me (fizzer82), I'd love to help when I'm online.

I was instructing a novice autocross event this past weekend and I really enjoyed it. I find it mutually beneficial because it helps my driving as well.

I'll be trying to join these practice rooms or hosting when I can.

It's available in the game. I think you win it through one of the A-Spec series. You could also get one from a trade with somebody on here. Just post a thread in the Marketplace and someone should have one. 👍

I think Turbo has a great idea here. Rounds 1 and 2 are oh so slightly boring and I think we need to spice it up with some good clean racing. I think spec Silvias at Nurb and Tokyo would be a good start. Let's get some rooms up and racing Y'all. Let's get this thread going and organize some fun.

post some timings here if you can! Oh and is it possible to just observe lobbies without actually racing in them?

Anybody on tonight? Might have a timeslot to get some seat time..
I'll be on tonight but I won't be able to keep up as I still don't have a wheel. I would still be there just to watch you guys racing, always a pleasure.

Alrighty I'll be racing later tonight. I love racing with friends, feel free to add me, but I hope we can get some public rooms up as well. I might host a room but my internet isn't great, maybe others can. We should set them up as Racing for Real, Skid Recovery Off, with GTA GTP in the title maybe. Feel free to discuss what's best here. Maybe Turbo can update the first post as we figure this out. I'm usually on late Pacific time (8 to 12 GMT). I hope to see some other GTA dreamers out there. 👍

Yes indeed racing with Profi and Timpaqq at Nurb Nord in GTRs was mega good fun. We also had some good times at Eiger and Tokyo. Some others joined for a while too. I look forward to more close clean racing. 👍

Yeah thanks for the races.. I'm quite rusty still and unfamiliar with the online physics but enjoyed the races nevertheless
