GT Academy 2013 in-game prizes?

Are we getting an in-game car for getting golds on the tests? I would assume it'd be this 370Z, etc.

Actually, with 2012, how did that happen exactly? Were the prizes announced and released way after the actual event, or...?

No prizes were announced for GT Academy 2013 so far. The most you will get is the special time trail with with street GT-R and the GT-R GT3 in the same demo.

For GT Academy '12, you had to register on Teh Official Site by a certain cutoff date, before you could qualify to receive the in-game prizes.

I was concerned about the same thing this year, but since they haven't announced any prizes, and since I didn't register on the GT Academy site in a timely fashion this year... o.o I hope I'm not missing out on any loot.

I didn't register in the official site with GT Academy 2012 and still got the prize cars and the suit in GT5. the only reason you would register was if you wanted to enter the official GT Academy competition. It had nothing to do with the in-game prizes.

And no. You're not missing any loot. There are no prizes for GT Academy 2013 as far as we all know unfortunately.

I didn't have to register either. I just downloaded GT Academy 2012 and got all golds (I was told I got a new car each time) long before the demo's end date, and opening GT5 put a bunch of coupons in the Gifts section. Unfortunately, those are not saved to your account like purchases are, so switching PS3s (which I had to do) mean you lose those!

Actually, is there any way to get around that? Is the GT Academy 2012 save data locked to a given console, or can I transfer it to another and get the cars that way? Surely they've already been redeemed and I can still pick them up, too? I've got to try this.
