Just wondering if GT Academy will be on GT7. Kaz says 'you won't have to wait that long' for GT7 so we assume a release at 2016. Maybe later the year. So we could get a Demo of the game as GT Academy like we did for GT6. There are concerns if this may frustrate the GT6 players having to buy a PS4.

However, GT5 had 2 GT Academy's as demo's from 2009 and 2012. GT6 had a demo in 2013 but later on changed as a in game feature. I think GT6 is outated to feature GT Academy again, we need new and more realistic physics to put up a updated challenge.

'You won't have to wait that long' coming from Kaz means nothing. Judging by his standards, not that long may be 2017, 2018... I mean, just look at the course maker/track path editor, perfect example. Don't get your hopes up.

I understand, and if he releases the game next year were likely to get a beta again like GT6.

The staff at Silverstone said it will be on the PS4 for 2016.

Remains to be seen whether or not it will be on a full-blown game or just a demo of GT7. Those who intend to enter and don't have the console yet should probably start saving up for it and peripherals.

It's quite logical for GTA next year to be on PS4. It will serve as a free downloadable demo in mid-year, then followed by GT7 release in Nov/Dec 2016. All of the Vision GT cars for GT6 would have been released by then (judging by current car release rates of around 1 per month), so it would make sense to finally release GT7.

I know we are all dying to race GT7 wishing it was ready for 2015 Christmas, but I am not that keen on paying £300 even £600 for the G27 guys for a demo. Don't get me wrong the second PD puts anything on a PS4 I'll buy one. However I'd prefer the full game before I have to make the upgrade .

Hello! Guys,as we all know that the next gran turismo game is likely to be an f.I.a and PD collaboration, what do you personally think about the future GT academy?Feel free to share your feelings and you also can ask few questions to clarify your doubts about the current GT academy program and the way of preparation.Talking about F.IA,apart from the award giving ceremony alongside the stars, there can be a bright future for an individual in the motorsports once after getting a recognition,so what program do you like to support ,GT academy on current console or GT academy on the upcoming beta or prologue(what ever you say) which may or may not bag a trophy for you alongside the celebrities?Support your opinions and vote.TQ

Coming out in 2016 so I suppose they'll do the same thing they did with GT6.
Hmm! I guess that its going to be on both games for an year, because PD might also base the people on the last gen consoles and many ps3 users having driving wheels mighy find difficulty in purchasing a new console and a compatible wheel set!

Unlikely. Balancing between the old and the new game engine would be almost impossible.

I think they will just go PS4. It's been out for over 2 years already, and it makes sense to focus on the new more realistic engine. Time to update the old console and peripherals....
