Is there a way to tell who is registered or not in the rankings? Or who is even eligible? (Let_Canada_In)

It would be nice, because I know I'm technically in third, and for the lower drivers it would be a little less disheartening to know they're actually in the top 32, and not still hanging on the edge. But I guess it might give some people a shock when they get the call (or e-mail) that they're in.

Let_Canada_In is actually Turismo-lester. Before GTA started, he told me about his 'secret plan' to try and get to the US finals by making that account.

But in all seriousness, why? He's not eligible, so why screw up the rankings? I understand he wants to be in it, but he's not going to be able to anyway since he probably doesn't have all the qualifications. He could at least have the courtesy to do what R1600Turbo is doing.

Of course, it might bring attention to the fact that Canadians are treated poorly by PD, yet we're still loyal...

It's really not worth it for Sony to try and work something out. Sucks for those in Canada, but that's how it is.

Can everyone stop saying "PD this" and "PD that". The contest is up to Sony and Nissan, PD only controls the game related stuff.

Yeah, that's not why I made this thread either. We all know that Canadians are upset they can't win, and I agree, it would be awesome if all of those who make the top 32 and aren't actually eligible could be rewarded for their efforts. Also it's not fair to ask them to not try to get to the top of the leader board. What R1600turbo is doing is honorable but it can't be expected.
I was just trying to find out if they had made a leader board that coincided with the registration information.

Joker I really don't recall telling you it wasn't (or maybe you were trying to hide my identity) but my memory is foggy at the best of times.
I'm not trying to get in this year (and won't).
I realize that would be seriously unfair for the rest of the people in ineligible countries.
Also really not trying to mess up your rankings and apologize for any confusion I may be causing.
All I want is for them to take notice that there is lots of talented drivers up here (and many other countries of course) that would really like a shot.
I figured this might be a good way to be heard.

I recall a few years ago during the prologue days (before I had a ps3) they ran a comp and sent the fastest Canadian all expenses to the indy 500.
Surely it's possible for them to include us again in some fashion.
I have written a letter and talked to many people about it, but I feel it would be much easier for PD to just make it work than for me to get the laws changed in my country.
Not gonna give up trying both ways though, hopefully we see the light one day.
