GT auto maintience worth it??

Hi

i have a couple cars that need to get the engine and chassis maintience at GT auto, but is it really worth the cash its like 80,000+ for each car, will it help with my speed or acceleration or turning??

If you messed up some where and have a crash. It will affect the stability and handling. I was messing around with GTR R35 and after a few bad crashes I started feeling the differences, more understeering and losing lap times even though I had the oil change. To make sure it was just me I had the chassis maintenance and the car was back to normal. I am just extra careful with my Ferraris and Lambos, if you think 80k is bad, those cars will set you back for about 180+ to 250+ just for Chassis.

Engine overhaul will boost your HP back to where it was if I am not mistaken, that is the only maintenance that I don't really feel a big difference.

Im trying to get my b-spec driver up, he's level 12 driving a 1011 hp viper, racing against people in the 500-600 hp range on a speedway course, and hes getting 7th place, i might try the maintience just to see if it improves him any, ill be back with details lol

How do you know when you need the maintenance?

To me its when I start losing more and more control on turns. I pretty much memorize Speed Ring and that is the track for me to test if the car is handling like it used to. Hope you understand what I meant, English is not my first language.

ok i am back, i did an engine and body maintience on a car with about 1500 miles that i bought new and i saw a dramatic improvement in acceleration and a slight improvement in turning and control, also my b spec was finishing about 7th in every race i ran before the maintience and after he won the race first time so i guess it does help a bit

There's nothing more concrete than "how it feels when you drive the car"?

yeah it just feels different. Just an example, if you brake at the right spot turn and accelerate out (perfect cornering) after a few bad hits on the car, you try the same cornering but results vary. Its fine at the start but if you keep bumping the difference is going to be bigger and bigger. Its up to you when you want to have it done, if you can keep going at the same speed and time then don't fix it.
