Gran Turismo Endurance Racing League Race 4 - Grand Valley 300km - October 15th at11:00am UTC.
The Gran Turismo Endurance Racing League will be holding the forth of six races for the months of September and October. This week's event will be the Grand Valley 300km at Grand Valley Speedway. This is the original Endurance Race that appears all throughout the Gran Turismo series of games. It is a very strategic event and requires extreme patience. Although it's 60 laps around, it doesn't last long, with equally matched cars completing the race in as little as just over 2 hours, Pit-strategy is very important, and as in most endurance races, fuel consumption will be a primary factor during the race.
Unlike prior events put on by the GTERL, this race will use this event as test using the Practice/Qualifier/Race type with no penalties and heavy damage. With these changes, clean racing will be of the utmost importance, and any issues that may happen will be dealt with post race via replay. There will also be a prize awarded to the overall winner of the race, prize will be a $20 USD or equivalent Playstation Network Gift Card.
The event will be open to the public for anyone who wants to participate in long distance racing, beginners are encouraged to join as well weather you have a wheel setup or a standard controller. See you on the Grid!
