Hello All,
Im new to the forums, so I was told to do an introduction. Well, I have been a Gran Turismo fan since the start. I've always been an over-enthusiastic petrol head! Favorite car, the Dodge ViperGTS, and even tho it has just gone out of commission I still hope to own one.
How did I find GTPlanet? - Looking for tips to Driving Mission 34 on GT4, I stumbled upon the site. I was wondering if I was missing anything since I kept placing literally half a second behind the 300SL. After about 50 attempts I got it.
Where am I from? - The city that never sleeps, New York.
When did I start playing Gran Turismo games? - When GT was released, my cousin who lived with me bought it for his PS. That was the first discovery, which then led to endless days of a 7-year old kid getting constantly kicked out of his cousins room. I later bought a first gen PS2 with GT3 and continued on to the rest of the titles on their respective release dates.
Do I play with a steering wheel? - Believe it or not, I am more relaxed with the Dualshock controllers and didn't pick up my Driving Force GT till GT5p. All it takes is a steady thumb really. No lag time, no twitchy driving lines, drifting, and I do just as good as with the wheel. A few laps with the Sixaxis placed me within the top30 in GT5tt in January, till about two weeks before the finals and I plummeted to around 213![Sad :( :(](/wp-content/themes/gtp16/images/smilies/cry.svg)
What other games do I enjoy?
GT has me spoiled, so I don't play other racing games much. I enjoy most Nintendo and Playstation games with a legendary storyline, no matter the genre.
What am I most looking forward to doing in the community, now that I am a part of this site?
Becoming part of the forums, providing videos, tips, or just expressing my gratitude to PD. I would like to meet a few good...(scratch that), professionally CLEAN drivers out there as well. The dawn of GT5 draws nearer and I stil have plenty of PSN friend space available. Work and college life keep me busy. But GT Planet keeps me in tune!
