GT Force Issues

Yes, I know, I should get a new wheel, but at the moment I cannot afford to get one. Also I want to wait and see what comes out for GT5. Anyway, the issue I am facing is that the pedals are not working. The steering works fine and so does the force feedback, but I get nothing from the pedals. If I unplug the cable that connects the wheel to the pedals, I get full gas input. Not quite sure what is going on, it does this with both GTHD and the GT5P demo.

I was thinking of testing it on my PS2 to see if it works, but before I dug it out I wanted to be sure that it wasn't the PS3 doing something.

thanks in advance

The pedal box on the DFP/GTF/MOMO had basically the same parts and they all suffer the exact known pedal problem. If you happend to break the pedal box open, you will find they are made with tin foil and match sticks, I've been fixing my DFP's pedal for so many times and I finally gave up and get my G25. The potentiometers inside is of a very very cheap type, it simply will fail after a short while of use.

Some companies like FREX sells a separate high grade pro pedal box for he DFP, but the box alone costs twice a much as the G25. LOL
