Hello Ladies of Gentlemen and welcome to the first GT Masters - 3 Hours of Spa Francorchamps!
This is the first time that I will host an event, but I promise you will have a nice time racing with us 👍.
BASIC INFO:
This event will be hosted on August 10 at 6PM BritishSummerTime BST (for more info, look at the timetable below). The cars we will be using are blancpain (inspired) GT's (for more info, see "THE CARS"). Free practice will be from 6PM to 6.30PM. After the free practice, you will have 30 minutes to post your fastest lap which will determine your position on the grid. At 7PM the race will start and will take us 3 hours to complete.

As you might have noticed, this event will be aimed at European and American GT5 players due to the difficult hours for the other regions.
THE CARS:
The cars we will be using are (P stands for PREMIUM and S for STANDARD):
2 of every car will be available!
THE RULES:
We all want to have a good time, that's why there will have to be some rules that everyone has to follow.
Please take the time to read the OnLine Racing OLR Rules and Guidelines
We do use cautions, and it's very important you know the procedure!
When a incident happens between two or more cars, the people involved must type "Caution." If only one person types, keep racing!
When two people type caution, the class leaders have to slow down immediately and wait for the Safety Car to arrive. Class leaders have to drive 40 MPH (~65 KPH) until the Safety Car arrives. He will wait until everyone catches up and will drive at approximately 60 MPH (~100 KPH).
Whenever a caution is called, the pits are closed! Only the The Safety Car driver will tell everyone when it is ok to pit!
The restarts are single file.
If a caution at the end of the race does not allow us to have 3 racing laps, the race will end under Caution. We will parade to the finish. Anyone who passes, or does anything to disrupt the final order will be disqualified from the race.
We all know bumping may occur due to closeness of the racing.
1.1.You are required at all times to allow room for your rivals and drive in a safe and sporting manor. If you bump someone off track and this person loses 2 or more positions, you will receive a drive-through penalty. How this has to be performed will be told in "EXTRA INFO"
1.2.If you fail to brake in a safe manor you will have receive a FootLoose penalty. How this has to be performed will be told in "EXTRA INFO"
1.3.Breaching tyre regulations will cause disqualification from the event.
1.4.Breaching car regulations will cause disqualification from the event.
1.5.Blocking or changing of racing line to block a rival will cause a FootLoose X2 penalty.
1.6.Overtaking outside the white lines will cause a drive-through penalty.
If there is an incident that hasn't been penaltisized or someone excessively cutted a corner, you are allowed to inbox Jonasrulez on GTPlanet via PM or Jonas_rulez on PSN/SEN via PM after the race. Upon receiving your complaint, I will contact the other party for there view on things and then decide whether or not this person will receive a 30sec time penalty.
Qualification:
All drivers are required to be in the lobby 5min before Qualification starts. If you are to late, you are allowed to drive 5 laps of qualification, NO MORE! Qualification will last from 6.30PM BST to 7PM BST. During qualification, it is allowed to use the Racing Soft Tyre Compount. Fastest lap will start on P1, Second to fastest lap will start on P2, ...
TIRES:
The following Tyre Compounts are allowed:
I.Racing Hard
II.Racing Medium
III.Racing Soft
IV.Racing Intermediate
V.Racing Raintires
All tires, except for the Intermediate and Rain, must be used ONCE!
EXTRA INFO:
Now I will explain how the penalties work:
Well, it is rather simple: what you do is right before you cross the white pitline, you pull the handbrake of your car and make it turn 180° meaning you will drive into the pitlan in reserve. This will cause your car to reset and drive through the pitlane without stopping at your pitbox.
NOTE: when you do not perform a regular drive through, you will receive a 30 sec penalty at the end of the race + a new drive trough to perform in the upcoming 3 laps, if you do not perform it in that period, you will be disqualified from the race!
As you might have figured out yet, a FootLoose X2 is simply a FootLoose that will last for 30 seconds.
THE TRACK:
We will be racing at Spa-Francorchamps, a DLC track. That simple. The number of laps will be determined on a later date.
LATE/NO SHOW POLICY:
Late/No Show Policy
I will give a 10 minute grace periods for life issue, lagouts, router resets, and cache clearings. Once it is past race start time, qualifying times will no longer be accepted, and all people that didn't qualify must start at the tail end of the pack, NO EXCEPTIONS! When you haven't shown up 10 minutes after the initial start time, the race will start without you. NO EXCEPTIONS!
If you know you won't make the race, let me know beforehand.

Visible Damage: Weak
Mechanical Damage: On
Penalties: On, alongside my own penalty system.
Collisions: On (Will be turned off for qualifying to prevent drafting)

FootLoose
You will probably have never heard of this as a racing penalty. This is completly normal as this is a invention of myself. Basically, what you do is when you have received a FootLoose, you have to move your foot off the trottle for 15 seconds. That simple. As you might have figured out yet, a FootLoose X2 is simply a FootLoose that will last for 30 seconds.
