man, you did some great work with that renault shot. just take that core of inspiration, and apply it to a shot you personally like, instead of finding on that fits a theme.

well I liked my Renault shot, but it's not going all to well in the polls. I am going to really step it up for this one. It's a good thing that my half yearlys end this friday...then.....then:mischievous::mad:

all you were missing on the renault was the cleaner surface on the car.. otherwise it was a great shot..
and yes it can be done with gimp. just apply a little bit of noise filter. it's usually best to clean the areas sector by sector. on the renault i think you used high settings for blurring the roof, just my guess.

Great start on this one Jg! Lovely details, and superb lightning!!:)

BTW I did´t knew you own a GTR 👍

Woah, I like the rims 👍 They fit to the car.. I bought exact the same Skyline in yellow a few "GT4-days" ( ) ago.. See you on the street, jgda9rs ;)

EDIT: Aren't those rims from the NSX Takata Dome JGTC? 💡

I think you can buy them in the normal stores, right? Awesome picture, by the way. Looks like it was taken straight from a movie :tup.

Great entries... sweetshop i love your picture..

Thanks man! I tried to use some of the nice buildings in Monte Carlo to complement the simple shapes of the car, I'm really pleased with the result myself now my editing techniques have improved abit.

you don't remember this pic ? it was an update from last year! or somewhere around there... but i do have two now, but one a white pearlish n1 r34, and the blue GT-R LM R33.

No...I knew that pic, I´m just saying that about the license plate, seeing your name on it(I´m comparing with real world).

Nice one balang. The colours are lovely and the blurring is excellent.

NTX your shot is amazing as usual. I'm digging the highlights.

I have always liked that pic Adrian. Nice to see it again.
@ balang, I admire the attempt and the car choice man. Solid entry 👍. One tip though. (I'm assuming you are using PS) duplicate the layer that you are radial/motion blurring a few times. It gets rids of the still artifacts, like the area behind the car and the building on the left side of the pic. 👍

JG- Car, composition and reflections boggle the mind for awesomness....but I get tripped up with the straight lines at the wheelarches

Final Entry
Quick Rebrush; if it is unacceptable, I'll just use my RX-7

That's very clean and smooth, as long as you didn't use tools that are not listed as allowed tools, I can't see why your entry wouldn't be legit 👍

Okay, cause I wasn't sure if rebrushing to smooth stuff out would count as changing the geometry or skin of a vehicle. It's been a while for me. lol

@Sweetshop, thanks!

that's probably one of the best photos i've seen of this car in a long time. what exactly do you mean by re-brushing the car? like did you actually re-draw the whole thing ?
