Finally, it's back up!

I am Officially taking Over for Jim Prower, as he goes into permanent hiatus from this Thread.

Since I'm not Big on rules, there will only two rules with this thread. here it is, and make sure you pay close attention to it, because i'm not going to repeat them again here goes;

Make sure that any requests for any track are done in this format;

United States of America
Sebring International Raceway 70s

Understand? any requests done in any other way other than this will NOT BE ALLOWED. are we clear? comapre? Capice?

also, There will be NO CUSTOM TRACK REQUESTS. With the distinct possibility that GT5 will be released this year or early next year, at the latest, there is no use for custom made tracks because it will be redundant to do such a thing (if that makes sense to you non-native English Speakers. if you happen to be one of the latter and what I just said makes no sense to you, just PM me.)

if you have any questions about this thread or if I made a mistake on it and you want to point it out, just PM me and I will be happy to help you on anything you ask.

Also, as Jim Prower did, Tracks Officially confirmed for GT5 will be highlighted in RED.

Have at it!

PSN Store Christmas 2011. Special!

Download the "All Tracks of the World" Track Pack for the Gran Turismo 5 for the special price of just 2000 euros! Before it was 3500 euros!

JUst imagine the effort and working hours that Polyphony Digital has invested in this Special Track Pack! True Gran Turismo fan will know the true value of such collection!

Use the tracks in both offline and online races, compare the stats on the never-easier-to-track-results Official Leaderboards and enjoy in content with your friends. Now it is even easier to find a race with more than 2 drivers racing on some of the 511 featured tracks, because of new and improved "Find Anyone Anywhere" function.

Gran Turismo 5 "All Tracks of the World" Track Pack is out NOW! Find it on PSN Store for just 2000 euros! This offer is valid until 3rd January 2012.

amar, I already knew you had ways of knowing relevant GT5 info a lot sooner than we mere mortals, but I didn't know that you had a two-years advance on us all :D

:lol:

I suggest that "Streets of Miami" be renamed "Miami Bayfront Park" as its the proper name of the circuit. I also suggest that "Grand Prix of Washington at RFK Stadum" Should just simply be "RFK stadium" for simplicity. As for my first request in a long while:

United States of America
Motorsports Ranch (Angleton Version)
Motorsports Ranch (Cresson Version)

The names on the side are names of their locations in Texas.

QUESTION-> Just to clarify things, meaning to say No Custom Tracks as in no more real-life point-to-point streets as I provided back when Jim was still in charge? :nervous:

-PHILIPPINES-
Kennon Road

Marcos Highway

-UNITED STATES-

^ Since I just arrived from L.A. (from a nice relaxing vacation), I still have more custom-made street tracks that I have discovered from my trip. :scared:

SUGGESTION-> If you could refine the list a bit further, some track names have a question mark (?) in them. And the links were not transferred. Just giving you a tip from a fellow wish lister. ;)

I'm pretty sure it means no custom circuits of any kind; not just point-to-point, but complete circuits as well.

511= release date 5/11/2010?
All track of the world= world wide release?

I THINK he was just joking this time. Can't you hint all the sarcasm?
I like the way he interprets 511 circuits as meaning a November 5th release date.

I'm pretty certain the 511 number is the number of circuirs included in the opening post.

Okay... sorry for a potentially pointless post... but this is what I don't get about GTP wishlists.

Why is it so strict on rules? And why do they have to be arranged and categorized in the first post? I mean, this is a wishlist... I could understand the sorting and stuff if we were actually sending this list to PD, but, as far as I know, we're not... my idea of a wishlist would have just been a general thread. "Post what track you want in GT5!" and that's it... "I'd really like *track*" "Yeah, I'd love that track too"...

The GT5 Pictorial Wishlist, actually, is my idea of what a wishlist should be like.

So... what is the point of all this sorting and these strict rules? I just don't get it.

Sorry for pointless post, chaps, but I've been wondering about this a while.

Really, only 2000euros!!!! That's roughly 4euros/track:sly:

These threads sort of form an encylcopedia for us. Most people don't know what circuits exist outside of the major ones and the ones near them. These lists help expand people's motorsport knowledge.

^ It is some sort of a way to make it more organized and easier to browse requested items. Plus it gives the thread a quality appearance. :sly:

-> The pictorial wish list is a mess in my book, because there is no set of reference on the first few posts like on the vehicle, race car, & race track wish lists. It is just an assortment of ramdom posts here-and-there there is no set list to be logged on to the list. :indiff:

The Netherlands

Circuit of Zandvoort (There are formula 3 races, DTM, Seat Leon cups and more) I hope I can race in my own country in GT5! :) I also hope all the formula one cars an tracks are included.:sly:

That Wikipedia Page
Note: Most of the Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo (PSP) tracks confirmed here are not officially confirmed.

That'll be a "no" then.

Whoops! My bad. I should read more carefully! :dunce: What are the chances of those tracks re-appearing or is that a silly question!

Another question I had, the Top Gear Test Track. I don't know it too well but doesn't it cross at some point in the track? Will it be possible to race on it or just 1 car test or time trial? Thanks
