Have to admit, once VDS disappeared I did not think we'd be looking at a BMW win this year.

So happy for the ROWE team and especially for Maxime Martin. Ten tries and he finally made it. Bentley screwed up big time and AMG had a nice recovery after the penalties. Difficult race for all the teams, glad no one got hurt.

Too bad it's such a horrendous looking car. I'm not liking the looks of the Huracan at all either.

Can't help but laugh at the #8, though. So many penalties and errors that it's rather embarassing...

Rowe livery doesn't help, but I like the M6. VDS livery would have been great I think.. but the Z4 was a hard act to follow from a looks point of view.

I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of the Blancpain series. But I'm a bit of a noob knowledge wise. Can someone explain to me the different classes? Pro-Am: that's a mix between professionals and non-professionals? And AM are only non-professionals? Is there a clear definition of what is a PRO and what is an AM? And what about the top class, does that have any specific name? So there are 3 classes in total?
Sorry for all the questions.
Edit: Wikipedia and the blancpain site sort of answered most questions for me, but not what defines a pro driver. I found this on: "For the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the maximum line-up is now one Platinum, two Silver and one Bronze driver." What defines those three?

In fact, here are the official guidelines/regulations as to what exactly qualifies for each level. Starts on Page 3. Just know that in general, the higher rated drivers are a bit young (apparently after age 40-50 you start getting in to the realm where regardless of actual talent, you get downrated) and are already professionals at the highest level.
