GT Settings Program

Hey all, I've only posted once or twice here, but anyway.

I got the crazy idea in my head tonight (er, last night, as its now 2am here), when discussing some various motorsport things on IRC, to write a program. Well, here it is. It's not available for download, yet, gimme a few more hours and we'll see what I can conjure up. But anyway, it's all rather simple to use. I've included some screenshots, of it so far.

The Main Interface

Listing the cars with settings in the database

I realise the listing dialog is simple, but all you really need is car name and what the setup is, right? :)

Dialog for entering new settings

And the dialog for editing settings

Anyway, I'm just plodding along with it now.

Basically, the goal for me, was to create a program that I could enter settings into, store them in a database, so they can be called up again later. And I can do that, so far. The next step is being able to export settings to a text file or a webpage, and being able to even print them to hardcopy if you wanted to.

Anyway, I'll have this done within 24 hours. Easily. But first, a message from the sponsors of sleep. In other words, I'm going to bed. Cya! :)

But couldn't you just directly put it into a text file or just write it down on paper? Or save those settings onto the memory card?

No offense was meant, but I think Kideng's idea is better because you can share the settings with other people too.

Yeah, you could if you wanted to.

I just wrote the program because I wanted to write the program. That, and I was bored and needed something to do while I had my 60 lap endurance race in gt2 paused :)

And yeah, I realise theres better ways of sharing the settings, but you can share them, you just export to a text file or a html page, whichever you want to do, and then upload it somewhere, or send to em in an email or whatever :)

And I realise I replied incredibly quickly, am watching Futurama, hehe
