GT SPORT being an Esports championship and competition intense, then being fast is the way to win races and championships.

Racing is all about winning and being the fastest you can. There is 2 main ways to do this

1. Doing 1000's of laps and learning a track slowly using ghost car

Or

2. Harness a full scale telemetry software to be able to intelligently see were aliens are braking, coasting, the racing line, steering input, throttle application, etc...

What is everyone's opinion on telemetry software such as Atlus or ISPEED explained in the links below

Ispeed (first link) lets users compare there laps times against a database of the faster guys to see were they are loosing time

How useful would this be and would people be interested in utilising it to improve on the PS4 base android software ??

I certainly think this could be a neat thing to include. :)

GT6 already has an in built Data Logger. You can also import your replay to PC and open it using MoTeC. That's good enough for the level of audience GT is aimed at.

A more complex system is not necessarily going to be better if the game doesn't even calculate all the extra data.

Maybe eventually we'll be able to open the MoTeC software in-game. I like the idea of being able to see telemetry. It's extremely useful to me.
