trash- does every ****** story get a new thread now?
It's a pretty significant tidbit of information to be honest, and while it isn't the best OP, it can very much warrant it's own thread in my opinion. Especially for those on the fence about if they should get a pro or a base PS4.

Same thing as GT5 or GT6 I can't remember. They had to patch this post release. Probably the same will happen. Since I'm not a drifter and don't take shots of drifts I couldn't care less about it, but of course it would be better not to see these "smoke pixels".

High resolution alpha effects occupy a lot of resources ... in GTs have reduced the particulate effects of smoke (water?) Precisely for this reason if we consider that we now have 24 cars on track, it would be impossible to keep the 60fps.
PDs have built the game to run at 60fps fixed, they will no longer make the compromises made with the GT on ps3.

While true, it's just a bit disappointing finding this out a day before release. We've been built up for the past year to believe this wouldn't be an issue. For those on base hardware, it's an understandable issue especially how late in the game it is.

So I have to do donuts or a burn out for a minute or two in the same place to start seeing jagged lines :indiff::lol:? As long as I keep my 60fps. And On replays non the less. This will never effect me or probably a magnitude of people unless they purposefully go out and try to.
Or just race on a 'rally' stage, where it happens constantly.

Jesus, the video isnt even that bad as the first thumbnail suggests
yes, i make a zoom in the thumbnail :D and on video only in some moments you can see pixelated, good improvement anyway... but i am not expected pixelated in PS4 :(

So how much of it is artifacts from YouTube compression?
As for the clickbate thumbnail....
I swear all people want to do is post negative **** all the time.
Really, why do you put yourselves through it?
If you think it’s crap then don’t play it!

Probably little to none, since it is 1080p60fps.

As for the clickbate thumbnail....
Clickbait how? It's showing exactly what's happening, using literally a screenshot from the game. It's not like its fabricated.
I swear all people want to do is post negative **** all the time.
Ironic, considering this is all this post is.

If you think it’s crap then don’t play it!
Which no one said.

Find me a game on current-gen hardware with awesome graphics that is actually worth playing, that does not have occasional stutters or hiccups. There is no perfect software. People will always find something to bitch about. Too bad small potatoes are blown up into a big deal. The game will receive patches and updates, and we will still enjoy the game quite a lot I am sure.

Forza 7 on Xbox one ;). But yeah i agree with what you said.

Forza's pretty up there with rock solid performance, on a game with great graphics, that is worth playing.

Although recently we've found that one track in the career mode, when you use a very specific vehicle, causes issues. Weird thing about it is that it's not even the most taxing thing in the game so it's weird that it causes an issue.

I would think its a considerable enough issue that it should be pointing out, especially considering everything we've been shown before the game released was specifically PS4 PRO footage. It would have been nice to see things like this before hand, but it makes sense to not show the weaker aspect I suppose. I was considering purchasing the base PS4 because I figured things wouldn't be that different, so things like this would have definitely bothered me.

No one said that it's not going to be enjoyable.

this seems like a damage control thread. you can be just as weary about forza 7 graphics, so there is no point. Not just a wheel but an entire car is pixelated in forza 7
