Hi to all......After all the server problems occurred the last 36H it would be normal that PD enable local game saving at least for the offline section of the game... So we could be able to play an progress if Internet or the servers are down...

I posted this in the game... Please give it a like and resend the status.... So maybe we are able to change little things that improve our game.

Many thanks in advance to all!
And a happy Xmas day to everyone!

They won't change it, and this is the first time this happened in 2+ months of the game's release.
The game got local saving file system in the closed beta version until the 1.06 update... So they could change things if they want.

There were server problems also in the public beta and at launch of the game..

Everyone complained about that the game didn't offered a GT Mode and finally PD decided to listen and given us finally the new "GT Mode" due popular petition....

So if we all move and ask them a chance... Sure that they can enable local game saving at least for the offline section of the game

Being silent for sure nothing gonna change..

Thanks for your reply and have a happy Xmas

Likes and upvotes rarely change anything in the real world.

Not doing anything really don't change nothing....

So The company's and development team keep charging for online and permanent Internet connection that sony said in 2013 wouldn't implement in their first party games....

Be silent and don't use all social media like forums, the ingame social network, twitter, Facebook, PS forums is be OK that they abuse of their users with bad policy...

We all paid for a game that showed the last 36H if the servers are down or Internet is down, that game become an useless cupholder

So resend a status make it popular and very viewable in the game...
The devs als "play" their game... So can easily been seen and make things change if the popular petition is high...

Just like what happened with the "GT Mode"

Have a happy Xmas and be the Wolf, not a sheep

You think PD created the offline play due to customer complaints? Highly unlikely.

Uhmm I have inside info that they did in fact create it for that exact same reason. Coupled with a 'special pricing' just before Christmas and voila! you have a huge number of uptakers who manage to bring down the servers in the process. Coincidence? I think not, and trust my source.

Sounds like false information to me, the gt mode stuff was probably made before release.

They could make two save coexist together, one for online and offline. Online just focus on the sport mode/championship/lobby. Offline save focuses mess around and don't want go online.

It wasn't. It's also clear it was a rushed job. Neither the look and feel nor the minor graphical elements match the game's. I can assure you the next update to that mode (which will incorporate new cups/races) will look totally different to what they have released and will match the rest of the game's aesthetics.

There's absolutely no reason not to have local saves. It's not that difficult to create a process via the use of a checksum verification where the online save verifies that the local save hasn't been messed around with before updating itself. Where signs of tempering have been found the user is banned permanently. Easy and is already in use on other applications.

But what the chance people could by pass the checking verification system ? I hope they need find away sort out this mess soon. Sometimes casual player really hate online game, not very interested.

I'd rather they kept it online only to thwart the cheats.

I doubt going online only was an easy decision either, as we've seen in the last couple of days but for a multiplayer game, I'd say it was worth the sacrifice.

With all due respect, it was advertised as an online game.

Yeah I know but I hope they figure out away to get people more informed on it. I don't want people come to expecting going be more sane old direction.
