GT World Championship Test Course Settings Nightmare!!!

Hi all

I decided to race the Gt world championship in the formula Gt. Now i'm at the test course race. I did it before in the MINOLTA so i won easily, but the Formula GT keeps loosing speed in the corners and i can (just) win (by about 0.2 secs). In order for me not to have a heart attack and die trying to keep all the cars just behind me, does anyone have any good setup advice for me?

*edit* sorry if this has been covered before, honestly i did search.

Take away as much downforce as possible and you´re in the winners lane for sure. That is if you don´t want screw the setup over completely.
Oh, and hug the inside of the turns for a more stable run and higher exitspeed.

edit: you could probably apply the 300mph settings in my sig to fit the formulacar. except N2O ofcourse. And the gearing can obviously not be as long as in these settings, due to top end torque.

Use the Practice mode to test your set up for good top speed.
Set the Downforce sliders front and back all the way to the left. (Less downforce is better for top speed)
Set the Auto slider for the Transmission at about 3/4 of the way to the right. Test for top speed at end of straight. Adjust to the right if the car redlines before the straight ends or move to the left if it does not reach redline before the end of the straight.
Set the Toe on the rear wheels to -1 or 0 to reduce tire wear. Default is -4 I think from memory.
I find the default suspension settings are too hard on the F1. I generally soften them a bit (move slider to the left for springs and dampers). It may not work for your drivng style, you may prefer a hard setting.
I generally lower the ride height a small amount as well.
Do not lift off the gas on a bend as the F1 will snap around very quickly. Slow before the bend and then ease the gas on as you go around the corner.
