Honestly that video doesn't make the hair on the back of my neck stand up like the original, but its still interesting to see.

Awesome intro but I start thinking about GT5. Love the slow mo bits in the middle of the vid.👍

I hope GT5 won't be full of soft American teenage guitar music.

Bring the choons back PD.:) Get in touch with Liam Howlett and the Chemical brothers.

Can somebody put the video to see in this same page ?
I'm using the PS3 (PC broken) and youtube say that my java is disable or it is a old version, but is everything ok here.
When the video is directly posted on the page i can see it without problem. =x

Thanks in advance.

Actually, I do believe it isn't PD who choose the songs that are used in the games, its your local Sony Region, in your case I assume SCEA, as there are some variations on what songs each region seems to get and differences in the opening videos.
However, I have to say that up till now the songs SCEE at least have picked have been excellent, a good variety and they all have fit in well. I don't normally like electronica stuff or some of the pop bands they pick but I learnt to enjoy them a lot in Gran Turismo. In fact, I could say that Gran Turismo introduced me to Feeder.

That original GT1 remix along with My Favourite Game by The Cardigans are songs that define Gran Turismo intros in my opinion.

hmm...someone put this in the suggestion box for GT5 full...ALL old soundtrack cuts available as DLC...if they haven't allready...

*now has a sudden urge to try and finish the original, again*

No I play the SCEE region games but the impression I get from GT3 to GT5p is that there's been too much of the pop and guitar rock style. I'd like some of the style from GT1 to come back. Maybe have both a Chemical brothers/Prodigy intro and your usual pop/rock fair. Electronic music list hasn't been good since GT3.

So, from me, a choon loving manc (not a yank) and all the other old ravers from raveland Manchester who know their choons, it would be good to see some decent electronic music for main pieces with pace thats suits the game imo, but not everyone likes electronic music, even from Manchester I see.

This gives me some hope.
