GT1 to GT2

Not possible. The only thing you can do is convert your licenses. Read the thread A Couple of Questions and all the info is in this thread.

Yeah, and the only licenses you get on GT2 are of the yellow/green "excused" sort. Not that it matters, unless you're into gold.

It is possible, however it isn't easy. If you have a cheat cartridge then all the cars that you win in GT also appear in GT2, though some have different names. You can create a garage with all the cars you have in GT in GT2, even down to the same colours I think. However the HP and weight may well be different, but I am working on trying to get them to as near as GT as I can with a cheat code.
