Since I finally got Gran Turismo 2 I decided to bring back my challenges starting with this one.

Track: Apricot Hill
Mode: Either
Transmission: Either
Car: Must be a "S" class car
Requirements: Come in first place on this track on hard difficulty or the I-A version of this track BUT, when going around turns you must keep your speed above 60mph or at least in 2nd-3rd gear when doing so!

Ok then, I wish all of you the best of luck for my challenge!👍👍

2 things come to mind:

1: Either a screenshot or a typed time will do. After all, I work on the "honor system"

2. Believe it or not, it is. I actually managed it and I used the Castrol Mugen NSX prize car!

Like I said before, just do your best. That is all I require.:)👍

Ok everybody! Here's the new challenge!

Track: Rome circuit
Mode: Arcade
Transmission: Either
Car: Any class, but must NOT be from simulation mode
Requirements: Get a good time AND maintain as high a speed as possible without braking ONCE!

Well good luck... and may the "fords" be with you!:)

Nothing happened. I just put up a new one once they've finished the first one. That way, they wouldn't have to wait. Oh by the way, did you get my star wars refrence joke?

does handbraking count? and crashing to walls?

gtmaster08, dude you need to slow down. First challenge lasted 4 days. How many drivers did you get. What about the other challenge I read about.

Maybe put together an interest thread first after you have all the particulars. Give us some time to respond let alone get our runs in. 4 days is way to short. What with work/school/family schedules. Check out the online racing>>>race series>>>long or short race series section. Abud/Austin343/Balang_479/TS/RaceCar and a lot of others have put up quality threads and races. Take some time. Beg/borrow, not steal from the others with their permission. As you can see from your previous threads Parnelli, Scaff and the others are always willing to add something as long as you are sincere. Most races last around a week. What fun is a race series if nobody shows up. Then I would always finish first.

It's ok, I don't expect you to hurry with the challenge. Just get to it whenever is a good time for you. Also, I don't think that there's a handbraking option in GT2 only the basics; Gas, Brake, Reverse, Emergency Brake.

Just so you know, handbrake=emergency brake.

Ah, I see. Well, I for one have no idea as to why someone would even consider using the emergency brake for regular braking! After all, isn't it only meant to stop uncontrollable oversteering?

Uh, guys? Whatever happened to the threads I put up in ancient times entitled "The Cure, NFL Lore, and NFL Blitz"? I've been looking for them to get some good laughs at how I used to be! Plus, a part of my gaming research is in one of the threads and I need to recover it.:boggled::confused:

I use the E-brake occasionally to tighten up a corner angle, especially with front-drive cars. You can get quite an advantage by using the E-brake if you do it just right. Matter of fact, back in my GT2 days, I switched my E-brake to the L2 button of the dual-shock, so that it's something I can always use on-the-spot if I need to, while using throttle at the same time. 💡

I don't remember any of these. You'll have to do a search for them. They're probably in an entirely different section of this website if they're about football.

You mean you've changed?

If you do a search for threads started by you, you'll find them.

Well, I have changed a little... in a way. I mean, I used to be nervous about if my threads were too unprofessional or not. But now, I don't even care about that! Now, I am just a regular forum member like everyone else on here. (Except the suscribers, not like them yet)

But you should care that your posts and threads are still unprofessional.

What I meant to say was that I used to be so nervous about posting because I didn't think that they would be good. But now, I don't worry so much about that anymore because I just keep remembering that no one will judge me by the way I post on here. In other words, I've gotten more used to being in a forum than I was before.

I'm so wishing to join the challenge, but real life took the most of me. The fact that my "lovely" PSOne is finally broken after so long (darn it!!).Until it fixed, i'll go rampage on my sister's laptop (cue evil laughter here).

Take your time, I won't be putting up any challenges for a little while since I'm trying to beat 358/2 Days.

Well, since I beat 358/2 days well over the time when the last post on this topic was... that means it is time for a new challenge!

Track: Laguna Seca Raceway
Mode: Arcade
Transmission: Either
Car: Any C class car from North City
Requirements: Finish this track in the top 3 on hard difficulty with performance parts only (no hp as usual) with the car RM'ed along with all 3 stages of WR and beat your times with a better one. (Example; 1st lap: 1'19"335, 2nd lap: 1'18"772, final lap: 1'18"110)

Now then, show me your true power!

ok I go I will go also! if I can?

PS. I would like to see on screen your result

Right, can [yo]u show a screen with your result? All the cars from C-Class without turbo and racing muffler are too slow to beat your score.

Um, I was actually giving YOU guys the challenge. I didn't do this; so I have no result. Besides, I dislike racing with C class cars. I only like A or S class. (Meh, B's okay but ONLY if I drive the classy BMW)

we go goods this altered BMW?
And what from addition power? we add or not ?

BMW proposes 320Ci think full tuning 303hp

What about this? It will be better my sentence

So you gave us just example time of laps, right?

I think we can go on one of these cars: Lotus Elise, BMW 320Ci, Opel (Vauxhall) Tigra, Vectra. What else? I propose to write a list of cars and choice one of these. Of course full additional power, weight reduction, racing modification, etc. Just full tuning. One more thing: what about settings of car? Default or any?
