gt2 old

GT2 was the best game ever on ps1 in my opinion. Then the ps2 came out, and the GT3. I would have never thought that GT3 was going to come out like it did. It had the best graphics i had ever seen at the time. And now the GT4 is coming out. I wonder what great things are going to come in it.

An '88 Integra is also old. And it predates GT2 by 11 years.

We don't know for sure what will be in GT4, but we know the wait is agonizing, because it's release date is available, everything's a rumor until it hits the shelves. GT3 isn't as interesting to me as GT2. Fun to play, but the tire-wear races get old after a while, the competition doesn't even come close to racing you or each other, and the number of cars are limited.

GT2's an oldie, but a goodie.

If you want to discuss GT4 though, theres loads of info and interesting discussions in the GT4 forums.

Man GT2 is still the best racing game for any consle or ps in my opinion i play GT2 almost everyday i love that game and really dislike GT3 alot because of the messed up car physics but graphics are good long live GT2

No, not GT2's format. GT2 was good an all, but it was all single races with a prize car for each race. I want a challenge, not a £40 walk in the park. GT3 has the best format so far, but adding the Bhp restrictions to certain events like in GT2 would make it better. GT1 had a better format than GT2.

I like being able to conlify but besides that and the graphics gt2 kicks gt3's ass. But I rarely play it any more since I'm in the middle of beating gt3, but as soon as I do I'll return to the classic.

You mean qualify?

GT2 was good, but I didn't like the one race format of the game, and it was too easy to win the prize cars.

But in GT2, it was much more easier to win more money and get prize cars. In GT3, bah. I raced a Trueno on an oval track 90 times to make $30k to buy and upgrade my second car. (Super Speedway, 3 Laps each race. Raced 30 times, 30x3 =90 Laps)

Yeah, in the beginner league. GT2 was far too easy to make money and win the cars, GT3 has the prize Cr about right so you don't end up with 30 million and able buy 20 special models in one go ect. You could 550000Cr in 5 laps in GT2, it was stupid.

You exragetting about gettin 550000 in 5 laps right or is this true if so tell me so i go race and buy every special model for my other file:lol:

No, you win the GT All stars at Red rock and you win 50,000Cr + a TVR Speed 12 which you can sell for 500,000Cr.

The best game for the PS1 was Metal Gear Solid. But, GT2 is second.

I loved that third race of Red Rock. The Speed 12 was half a mill, and I'm sure a lot of people ran this race over and over like I did.

I was just thinking about the highest price for a car in GT3. I didn't really care when I was playing it, but I'm now curious to know.

Oh wait, I remember what it is. The F094S at cr 875,000. Right, stupid.

The next one down is the TS020 GT-One road car, you sell that for 550,000Cr so thats worth 2 mil new. If theres another F1 car priced higher, it isn't the other one on the PAL disk cos thats less.

The same with ours. The highest priced F1 car next to 875,000 is 300,000.

Yep. The best GT so far, no as much content in terms of number of cars and tracks, but IMO the best GT by far.

See, I'm using special techniques to convince you GT3 is better than 2.

I was really kinda disappointed with the amount of cars in GT3. This is going to be 'corrected' in GT4 where there is confirmed (?) to be approx 500 cars. I just hope the lack of cars isn't repeated again in GT5 which is hopefully coming out on the PS3. But I doubt this as I can't see there being as big a step between PS2-PS3 as in PS1-PS2 (different format, much more powerful etc)
