Hey Guys

After moving from England to the States five years ago, and moving around here etc etc, i somehow lost my GT2 disc. :grumpy:

So to cut a long story short, ive just re purchased the game, but ive forgotten if it ran on my PS2, or just ran on the PS1. :dunce:

My PS1 has been broken for a while, so im hoping it will run fine on the PS2? Can anyone put me out of my misery and answer this little dilema for me?.

If it does, can i use my PS2 memory card, or do i need to hunt for my older PS1 card?. My memory really isnt what it used to be :guilty:

Many thanks in advance.

The game should run fine in your PS2... but can't you figure this out on yourself seeing as you just repurchased it? As for the memory card question, you do need a PS1 memory card to be able to save/load your game. The PS2 memory card won't be recognized by the game.

Offcourse i could yes. But as it was an online purchase, and it has yet to arrive i figured id ask some people who are in the know.

Thanks for the reply.

Ya it should work. I bought my PS2 slim almost 6 years ago and it still works strong without a hitch. It's like a damn workhorse. I've had literally less than a handful of times when the game froze, for instance, out of all these years.

I hope my PS3 (which cost over twice as much) is as trouble free.

Thank You Parnelli Bone.

Its good to know i shouldnt have much of a problem running GT2. I cannot believe this didnt occur to me before i made the purchse,:dunce: (seeing how expensive it was). But well, it sure is worth it, as its a great game. And its the last (maybe first also?) in the series to feature my fav track "Red Rock Speedway". I dont think it was in GT1 was it?. I cannot recall off hand. :dopey:

Thanks again.
