gt2 platimum??????

i saw on the internet on google that they were selling gt2 platimum is there a such thing. it was on sell for 18.95 pounds i saw 3 screenshots and it looked a little different. can anyone tell me if this is true or a hoax

It's true. There are plenty of platinum video games. There is a set of criteria a game has to pass before becoming platinum. Something like selling 500,000 copies after 6 months.

It isn't anything special.

Platinum I beleive is over in England. And when it says for sale for 18.95 pounds it is British. I hope I am right. :confused:

Yeah, that's what 'Greatest Hits' games are called in the UK. I have a Platinum copy of Tekken Tag for the PS2. They usually sell for about £20 new, if it's second hand it should be half that.

Also the box would be different because, each region gets it's own different cover.

I got GT2 "platinum". All that i can tell is different is that they put in a sucky version of the Cardigans "Losing my favouurite game". The first version of that song was great, now all I have is a sucky synthesized drum version

The original release has the "crap" version as well, though in my opinion even the original version of the song never was particularly good.

Yeah, the American Intro has the normal version of 'Loosing my favorite game' and there is a really cool bit where you see a stratos and you hear that ferrari V6 at the same time. I must admit, compared to the Sucky PAL intro which goes on for about 5 hours as well and isn't well suited to the music.

the only problem i got wit the greatest hits version is that the saves i save it then after a while it get deleted it say save data corroptuded or somtin can anyone help :mad:
