GT2 Races are hard

I got GT2 from my friend today, and i started playing the game a couple of hours ago, but the thing that bothered me the most was that the races gave out little money, like in Sunday Cup only like 5,000. Before in GT1 i use to get like 15-16,000 per in Sunday Cup, cause of pole position, bonus, and championship $. Its so hard to gather up money for the car, so i'm really struggling here LOL.

I have a GTS(?) R33 Type M two of them one 91 and the other 96.

GT2 is not that hard, although you do get less money than on GT1 there are several easy competitions to start and win money, if you want my advice get a MR as fast as you can, if you win the third MR race, the hardest you get a Ford GT40 you can sell for good cash...

The Sunday Cup of GT2 isn't quite the Sunday Cup of GT1. In GT2, they resemble the Spot Races of GT1, and thus, they pay out better.

There's more 50k prizes than GT1, as well...don't worry, you'll have tons of cash in no time. Not to mention, prize cars pay out much better than GT1.

I love GT2, money isnt exactly an issue, buy a starter car, win enough to buy a good car *cough* skyline *cough* then just win races in the gt league, win cars there, get cash, then worry about buying other cars

GT2 is not hard, if u want hard play GT3. GT2 is pretty easy IMO. I started with a 94 Prelude Vtec, then saved for a 3000GT VR4. Then after that i saved for the escudo and then the game got pretty basic.

lol, i baught a skyline, and well, yup i cant stand low hp cars anymore, i baught the escudo, damn thing cant turn. I just stick to my other cars

The key to getting money in GT2 is knowing where the good prize cars are, winning them and selling them.

I think it's the GT All Stars race at Red Rock valley which yeilds a TVR Speed 12 which you can sell for 500,000

I hate the Escudo. Little kids are like "OMG, 981 hp, that can win the free races, why don't I blow my cash on it." and "The Escudo rocks, it can win any race.".......but the truth is.....it sucks.......I sold it after winning the GT500 series 3 times, then I used the Raybrig NSX, very good car. Makes it challenging to

r u insane GT2 was easy i beat it in less then a week and i only plated for about 6 hours a day. get real or better at racing games.

i dont meen to sound mean but this really surprised me to hear that GT2 is hard.

i agree the pikes peek does suck it doesnt turn for #### at high speeds and spins out too much.

i must be the only preson who did not start playing the game just to beat it... lets see i'm on day 523'ish and i'm only about 24% done I've had the game since newyears'ish, but then again that high level math 12 is a ***** and I dont have much time...

Escudo sucks at handling, but the speed makes up for it. I completely wiped out cuz i hit a bump in laguna seca, i was 6th place. But in 4 seconds, bak to 1st i go! This car is worth it, trust me. I used to use it for all FREE races, until it got boring cuz i kept on winning. GT2 isnt that hard to race in, just get used to it or tune your car to suit your driving style.
