GT2 Reanimation

The problem is that GT2 while a great game runs poorly on the PS2.
My current schedule is a bit nuts, but I'll try to check back to see if anything is going on with this.
*God, I hope I can find my copy of GT2, and my Memory cards*
 
But anyway, it's good to see there are still people other than me who enjoy GT2. If you guys want to run some simple, down to earth races without weird requirements, I'm in. I'm not good, but I'm in.

Skynyrd, understand you well. I'm not realy great fun of for example drifting. The best for me is simple time trial( test run, 5 laps etc). P.S We got new "GRAN TURISMO 2 USERS" group. Visit us, become a member.
 
Indeed. And I'm currently counting up the Infractions I'm going to have to issue in this thread...

You'd quoted a post I deleted and part of your post responded to it. Since it's now gone...

For everyone else's benefit, I don't care how you play the game - in the same way I don't care how you get your top speed in the "What's the fastest you've ever driven" thread in the Cars in General forum. So don't go saying how you do it, because then we have an AUP problem.

Off the top of my head, how about a series of six races, using a specific car on a specific track each time? Five laps in Time Trial mode, post your best lap?

That seems to be the standard, anyway.

Something like
Elise GT1 on Tahiti Road
Suzuki Cappuccino on Motorsports Land
Fiat Coupe on Rome Short

That kind of thing?
 
Hey fellas, glad to see there are people still playing and enjoying GT2. Im up for setting up some mini-tournaments or mini-series and such :)
 
Maniak300 just created new tournament at "race series and time trials" Take a look. . . It's something simillar to your idea

He was giving an example of the process Sony would have to go through, if they planned to put GT2 up on their shelves. Same as every other product the store has. In the shortest explanation possibly possible.
 
I know, but I was thinking, that he know something about GT2 on PSN store. But You can buy used GT2 on eBay or somewhere else... Its not expensive.
