LOL - I had a pretty heated discussion with a close friend.  He's a die-hard PC gamer, myself - a steady mix of PC and PS2.  What it came down to was the PS2 had the PC beat hands down because:

1.)  I didn't have to pay $2500 for an alienware gaming machine.
2.)  No patches or software lockups, bugs, and such.
3.)  My 32 in. monitor and 1000w dolby digital stereo blew away his 19 Trinitron, cambrage sound works pc sound system.
4.)  Grfx were comparable to his G-Force 32mb 128-bit VCard.
5.)  Did I mention that the PS2 is only $300?  

Oh yea, and I don't even have to program a controller.
