Sounds pretty good, I've been using the SLS GT3 lately and it's a pretty fun car to drive. Having a whole series based on those cars will be ace, count me in.

I made a list of all Cars and their highest power when tuned. 864 is the lowest so we should find a sweet spot between 860 and 870 I guess.

So I spent a few hours testing tonight with the modern GT car, and my suspicion that they were all fairly close at R865 was correct.

I lapped all of them at Yas Marina, which does slightly favor top speed, but here's the results:
Huracan 2:12.169
RSR 2:12.207 (2:11.996)
458 GTLM 2:12.426
Z4 GTE 2:12.194
C7.R 2:12.341
DBR9 2:12.227
12C GT3 2:12.441
Continental GT3 2:12.674
R35 GTR 2:12.418
Viper GTS-R 2:12.376
R8 LMS 2:12.323
Gallardo ST 2:12.229
SLS AMG GT3 2:12.079
M3 GT2 2:12.061

The RSR time in parentheses was uncertified because of an off around the marina on the previous lap. I tried to replicate it certified and got too frustrated, so I gave up. Had a flyer that lap or something.

Either way, the SLS, M3, Continental, and Huracan are all faster on the straights than the other cars (not a lot, but enough to notice) but in general it seems everything is fairly even, af least enough so that it would come down to the driver on the day as much as anything else.

The Continental is wierd to drive. I could probably shave some time there but couldn't be assed.
There's more discussion of builds in that thread also, plus some talk of what times were best for everyone. Take a look.

I'd definitely be interested in this series depending on when it runs though!

Yes I'd love to see this Series kick off. Anyone willing to help me with the Series. I still need to add a bunch to the 1st Page.

Driving Assists:

Suggested Line: On
Braking: ABS On
Steering: Normal
Traction Control: On
Stability Control: Off
Shifting: You Decide
Damage: Simulation
Fuel: Simulation
Tire Wear: Simulation

Just to clear things up, where it says for example "Braking: ABS On" is this just the easiest allowed setting? So if we choose to we can still use ABS off?

Sounds good to me though, XBL gamertag is in sig.

Yes, I Updated the 1st Page. I actually forgot to Add that..

I am interested, but if I could give one suggestion, that'd be to ditch Le Mans Full (which would essentially be an automatic victory for the car with the highest top speed) and add in any other European circuit (my preference would be for Monza or Brands Hatch).

Also, I'm not sure about the GT-R LM. Isn't it a P-class car?

BTW, my GT is ClydeYellow.

As much as I would want to join, I'm putting all racing plans on indefinite hold, coupled with hectic scheduling so I can't commit to any series on any platform yet.

Definitely interested, problem is my schedule is very chaotic.

The Series wouldn't start for some Time. Still need to get Sign Ups. After the Sign ups, Qualifying needs to take place. It's at least a few Months away..

Same as i replied to the above Post.. Keep the Series in mind and get back to me.

Well I thought about it, and I would be interested, as long as I can be thrown into the Amateur bracket. I'm not the best racer and I know that I would lose horribly if I went up against someone like Lukas.

Also I'll say something else, if I'm cautious in the first turn (as in overly cautious), it's because I get worried that I would be ran off the course or (even worse), I'd accidentally run someone else off the course.

But anyway, sign me up.

I'm not the fastest neither. You will need to Qualify, to be placed in the right Division. It wouldn't be fair to the other Drivers. Give it your all. No Sandbagging neither. Sandbagging will get you kicked from the Series. No 2nd chances

Fair enough. I'll do the best I can to the best of my abilities.

I would want to join this, but money for a longer Xbox Live Gold membership is wired tight and I'm still pretty busy with school as well.
