Hey Guys

Im looking for the GT4 equivalent of a Toyota Camry V6.

If anyone has any ideas as to which car/s in the driving sim is similar to that, can you please post them. Thanks and i hope you made it a great day. You would have if you had spent some time playing GT4 offcourse đź‘Ť

Edit: Ive since discovered that my Toyota Camry has 194 Horses......my real life one offcourse. That should make it easier to track down i think.

Citroën C5, some of the Honda Accords, the base model Mazda 6, Opel (Vauxhall) Vectra V6, Peugeot 406 Coupe. Then again, I've never driven the Camry or any of the ones I listed but those ones are probably the closest ones.

Anything French and Camry-sized would fit the bill. Big French cars are suitably boring to be mistaken for a Camry.

Maybe there is a Lexus ES300 in this game, it's essentially a Camry wrapped in leather.

Well, there's a GS300, but no ES.

Hybrid question...is it possible to drop a V6 motor from some other car into a Carina? This would make a good Camry V6 substitute.

When I found out that the ES was a Camry equivalent I searched endlessly for it in GT4. So sad that it isn't.

You may be able to find another V6 from the family to drop in place.

My little half-dream is to create a V8 Prius with the hybrid system intact.

That might actually be plausible with hybriding. Better, steal the 787B's R26B. I'd figure that the hybrid system is based on the transmission...

Hmm..you could drop the '83 Nissan 280ZX 3.0 engine into a Carina if you had hybrid capabilities I think. This way, you'd have your V6 but it wouldn't be too powerful...and since both car & engine are Nissan products, you'd have a pretty legit feeling Camry substitute with all the understeer, torque-steer, and floppy handling of a real-life Camry. đź’ˇ

this is a funny thread in a way. I've worked on so many Camrys at my job--they hardly seem race-worthy! :lol: I'm not saying people don't ever race 'em, I'm just saying the ones I work on are basically cooshy pillow-mobiles for the average Joe or Jane to transport to work. :D

:odd:

Engine = a 2.8 litre inline six
280ZX = Nissan
Carina = Toyota
Camry = Toyota
