GT4 + Logitech DFP Force Feed Back on the PS3!!!!

Features of the 1.70 firmware update:

1. Can download PS1 format software from store and play it on PS3.

2. Can use saved data for PS1 format software on PSP.

3. Can use vibration function of accesories that's used with PS1/PS2 format sofware.

I'VE TESTED AND IT WORKS!!

By "doesn't work", do you mean it doesn't work in GT4 on the PS/3 (where it never worked at all anyway), or that it now doesn't work in any games on the PS/3, or some other version of doesn't work?

I updated it last night and it works. I did not do anything special. I first tested it out with GTHD 1.2. Then I popped in GT4. Both games with Force Feed Back.

When you say dfp doesn't work, do you mean the DFP itself doesn't work? Or do you mean the Force Feed Back on the DFP doesn't work??

when I pop in gt4 and try playing the dfp does not work at all no ffb no dfp control. My friend also tried on his ps3 and he yeilded the same result.

Just tested this after reading the "official" GT forums. The trick is to make sure the DFP / G25 is plugged into port 1 in the PS/2 and also make sure the PS3 controller is assigned to be controller 2, not controller 1. Kind of a pain, but not too bad. The feedback is working perfectly now.

My DFP doesn't work AT ALL with GT4 on my PS3.

You have to download GTHD first and then, I believe, the FFB will be activated for GT4.

try pluging dfp into bottom usb port...worked that way for me.

Have you made sure your PS3 is updated to the latest firmware version: 1.7? To find out, go to Settings > System Settings > System Information.

If you haven't you haven't, go to Settings > Network Update, and select the way you want to update: internet or though storage media.

If it still doesn't work, I don't know what's wrong.

But who has proof that gt4 works on the ps3?
that is all i want to know.
