GT4 on 3 monitors

I know that the X2VGA 2 or VD-Z3 Transcoders will connect a PS2 to a VGA monitor. In the PC racing sim world, they use Triple Head 2 Go, from Matrox, to connect the PC to 3 monitors. It increases the screen resolution to 3840 x 1024 and sends it to 3 monitors. Has anyone tried connecting a PS2 to the transcoder and then connecting that to a Triple Head 2 Go unit to see GT4 on 3 screens?

I have networked 3 PS2’s to 3 TV’s, but that only works in arcade mode. You set one PS2 to right view, the left PS2 to left view, and the middle one to center view. This only works in arcade. If the Triple Head 2 Go can take the video output from the transcoder and spread it to 3 monitors, it should give the same effect as the network setup for arcade.

Your right. Simplly connecting a PS2 to 3 monitors won’t work. You would have the same view of the game on each monitor.

Triple Head 2 Go will take a single video output from a computer, 1280 x 1024 VGA, and converts it to 3840 x 1024 and distributed it to 3 outputs. In rfactor, you see the right side view in the right monitor, left view in the left monitor, and center view in the center monitor.

By using a transcoder to convert the video from the PS2 to VGA, then sending it to the Triple Head 2 Go, I thought it might work do the trick.

I just wanted to know if any one had tried this?
