I think times have moved on, everyone plays Forza, GT and GRID etc

To be honest, I'd been drinking for about ten hours when I posted that (7am Aus time). It's not offensive, but probably unnecessary, so I apologise for that.
But more broadly, I've been disappointed by what I consider to be a decline in the quality of posts on the GT4 forums over the last few months. Your post, crooky, is perfect; the OP is semi-literate garbage. We've seen a few too many stupid threads here recently and it's starting to get to me. gtp mambers have done massive amounts of work and made some extraordinary achievements. And to see some cretin make a thread called "how does I get the Black Beautiez" or "why cant i get into GTWC" is bloody infuriating to me.
We're better than this. gtplanet is the best site because it doesn't tolerate wankers, and aims to increase our knowledge of the game above all else.
I'm only half way through my ranting, will come back to spew some more
If you want to rant then take you're a** to a ranting thread (that's if gtplanet has one). Nothing you have said thus far has been constructive in giving me help or suggestions, so i really don't see the point in you taking the time to even post in this thread. Anyway thanks crooky for the link i been on xlink all day today and only one person was on, they were kind enough to help me but i still couldn't get a game with them. I really dont know Maybe because my configuration was wrong. I guess a newer system would be best for me.
I'd be up for it, but you'd have to get at least 4 to 6 people together at one time. Can be a bit tricky if you're across continents. I suggest saturdays 16:00 to 17:00 GMT time, seems to work fairly well for regular pickup races in GPL.
Oh, and only realistic racing for me, thanks (that is, no bumper cars like in so many online race games..)... N2 tyres, no driving aids of course, regular street cars, no more than say 350 BHP to give starter drivers a chance as well, too.
