Awsome ... i made it in again. great shots guys, hard to pick one... but i ended up going with the Camaro which i think was Melanaimoon's shot if i'm correct. The scenery reminds me of bathurst.

BTW for all of you that are not in Australia and would like to see Bathurst, I'll be up there in two weeks time so i'll take some video footage and a few photo's. It's a shame I couldn't do it before the comp, would help get the feel of the track.... but I must say all of the shots up there do remind me of sections of the track. 👍

yep the Ford XR8 does it for me too - not so much because of the car, but the attitude of the shot is pure Bathurst.

The Falken GTR & the BMW also have a strong sence of going up and over The Mountain.

I think I made a poor car selection this week. The Toyota 7 just is not an attractive car I suppose. I think if I would of had like a Skyline or something in the same position, I would be getting more votes. But I guess you live and learn!

Well, I think i'm going to make my pic's brighter from here on out. I'm just amazed that I made it on my first try. I hope next weeks will be better. And who knows, maybe some guy will actually come vote for me. That would make my day.

I ended up with a vote for the Sauber. It's original/unique, very nice shot, and very Bathurst looking.

Bathurst is a (real) racetrack (in Australia I believe).
ToCa 2 is a racing game (from "TOuring CAr" I suppose).

Suzq, i'll be in bathurst on the 29th of this month, I'll be mounting a camera in the car, and i'll video a lap of the track. The undulations are huge on this track. I'll have it hosted for anyone interested probably the day after.

I don't think it's that. I think it's just that it doesn't make people think "Bathurst" like some of these do.

It's also in Jarret and Labonte Stock Car Racing. That's mostly what made me vote for the Beamer touring car. Well, that, and the fact that I like the photo.

I went with the Camaro. Not fond of that car at all...at first I was actually leaning more towards the Tickford. The Tickford did feel as if it really is King of The Mountain...but that Camaro over all those rolling hills which looked as if coming down from the mountain felt more..."kingish" to me.
