This week’s theme will be "Coming Back From The Edge" as chosen by Week 71 Winner Sejtur. ​

Further explanation of theme: ​

In the words of Sej:
A bit trickier this week; Sej wants you to show a car overstepping its ability and starting to lose control... but you saved it from that dreaded race-losing spin. There must be evidence of an off in the image!

Cars: Any.
Tracks: Any.
Phototravel: No.

• Winner will select the top 10 for the poll and pick the theme for the following week.
• Post your final entry in red letters. Such as “Final Entry”
• A preview image may be used, but it may be no bigger than 300*400 pixels by either photo orientation.
• You may have two honorable mentions if a preview image is not used.
• You may change your Final Entry once. If if you do so, please edit your original entry make a new post linking to it.
• Do not use an entry from a previous competition.
• Do not post more than three photos in this thread.
• Only one entry may be submitted, and it must be uploaded using Imageshack and have the thumbnail picture.

You can use layers for overlay and layer adjustments, but not to alter the geometry and original subject matter of the picture: like adding stickers and body kits, and objects that are not in the original image.​

I think what sej is looking for are shots of a situation where you're getting control of the car after having lost it (or almost).

It's tricky to show on a single image, and it would help if the game made dust and smoke better and not fading as fast.

I wish I could enter...

Beerz if you have GIMP or Photoshop you could use those to make the dust/smoke.

Whats wrong with you guys, is it that complicated? Just take a photo of you when you manage to recover from what looks like crashing, then just show of a photo on how you lose control. Just two photos in quick succession.
(lol, i make it sound so easy.....but its simply not! )

But nevertheless, I am having an idea of an Image. Speaking of thruth, I am visualizing it in this exact moment. I am going off to shot it. Hope it meets the theme, though

I admit it is not an everyday theme, but is it so hard to understand? Beerz is right. And I think when you speed the replay up x3 the smoke stays visible longer, so it's easier to show you had a little off there. If you still don't understand it, just ask and I'll post what I just wrote again, I just copy and paste it. No j/k. But really, do you get the idea now? And no, it's not two pics like MNM_BMX suggested, just ONE. Now off you go shoot your pics and make me happy.

- You made a spin when racing
- You was off of the track when racing
- You was off of the evident racing line when braking
- You had a hard oversteer while racing
- You lost control driving over the curb
- You lost control when the car eventually jumped
- You had an evident and dangerous understeer

Don't het crazy with this, there are a lof of ideas and interpretation of the theme. I also think it's very clear. 10 points Sej 👍

PS. If you don't understand this, get a 300cv Elise with street tyres and chassis at the Ring and you'll get it

if you saw this year's season ending formula one race, think of what louis hamilton did in the first lap on the fast right hander of the interlagos circuit. that could be an idea. look it up in youtube.
