I definetely agree with you Event Horizon! There were probably some better shots that shoulda been in the top 20, but oh well. At leas mine made it in.

I voted for the older BMW sliding around a turn. It's a good crips image, and it just caught my attention the most, so....

I voted for the Nissan LM...The color, lighting, sense of speed, it's a clear winner in my eyes. It's only drawback is that it's not a car that really belongs on that track!

Can we ban drifting from these competitions unless that's what the category calls for? It really bothers me that all of these people are voting for the Motorsport Elise just because it's a drift. At least I assuming that's why. But it does have a good view of the road ahead.

I'd have to agree with him. No matter if that guy was infact drifting or not it perceives to be a drift and there is a different competition for that type of racing. A wasted spot for someone else.

that one is mine, its an old track in germany and i decided to use an oldschool german car, if you dont like it dont vote for it.

btw the 2002 and DB9 also involve drifting/sliding as well ...
but it is hard to define the rules
like snow rally week, drifting was a must for winning.
But how about tarmac rally? drifting can be essential as well
also think about the Yellowbird drifting in the Ring ...
anyway ... I think the PMC here involves about mix of all sorts of style
people can pose, drift, backfire, jump, or whatever they can do to make their entry look nice. If there is a backfire competition, are you going to ban all the backfire pics in here?

Drifting is sliding on asphalt. You have to go sideways to race in a rally.

I just thought mine was quite appropriate since it said Nuburgrings so I had more landscape then car but I guess that didn't appeal to TsLeng.

Please don't get argumentive with me. No, I wouldn't ban backfire pics. You can't control when the car backfires. If there is a great pic you absolutely love yet it has a backfire. Who cares you couldn't control when it does that. But you can control whether you drift or not.

The rules dont say "No Drifting" so drifting is ok to use. The idea is to get the best pic at the ring. If the car is drifting so be it. Don't complain just because you're not winning.

No it is not. There is already a drifting photomode competition somewhere else. Go take your drifting photos there. And do not get argumentive with me, I'm not complaining i'm not winning. I said oh well, not "OMFG I'm not winnning jesus these all suck i'm not voting!!!" In fact I have go check the Alfa Romeo Race Car photo.
