yeah i put more work than usual in it, i even used smart blur on the car to fix it up, and the shadows.

This week has been great for entries.

Yea this week has been wicked for entries! Mine was just a bit of a mess around, so well done to everyone, alot of work is going into these covers!! 👍

When making your choice, remember to look at ALL the aspects of the cover.

• Picture content - do the pics fit the mag
• Picture Quality - are they good shots. Are they clean shots (not covered in GT4 "muck")
• Text Quality - is it clean and not fuzzy or jaggy.
• Text Content - does what you read make sense and is in good grammar
• Graphics Quality - anything "hand made"; how does it look
• Interest Factor - would you buy it

If it meets al the design criteria, then you should have a good cover.There are more things to consider, but those are the main ones. Remember, this is NOT a popularity contest, it is based on design, nothing else. So go and vote your little hearts out!

Franz....you did right by not including mine. It was not complete and I posted it merely to show that I thought eastley and I were using the same 'real' cover for ideas. I had planned on designing a new one but work as been busy lately and I just didnt have the time.

I was under the impression those who entered didn't vote.

[edit] I'm noticing that some people voted in the first poll, but not the second.
suzq's cover, for example, got a vote from Slick6 in the first poll and two subsequent votes in the corrected poll, giving her 3 total. Are these votes going to be factored into the final count, or are they going to be ignored?

Of cause you can vote if you entered, I think it shows good spirit if you do. I always vote regardless if it effects me winning or not.

You know I feel this competition really is about using the other entries as motivation to do something, if not better, just different. Doing something that you may otherwise not be challenged to do better.

I honestly think that the voting is irrelevant. If all I wanted to do is win, I could email 20 of my best friends tell them to register, and vote....simple.

I personally get a lot more satisfaction when I get encouraging comments from the other participants. That means a lot more when you are respected by your peers.

The way i vote on these polls is to click the thumbs of those which really catch my eye and then eliminate until i have one left, this week Spun Magazine won it for me, although on clser inspection after voting i probably would've chose Drift*Star, the photoshopping on tghe cars is really good. 👍

Yeah I am sorry about that man, and by the looks of it your cover would of done really good. I think you should of finished it and entered it anyway.

As a matter of fact, I'm new and didn't know I shouldn't vote for myself
I just figured it's a competition right and I thought at least I'll make sure and get 1 sure vote.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't political candidates vote for themselves at elections?

Anyway for what it’s worth, I'd like to symbolically withdraw my vote for "Vroom-Vroom" and give it to "Drift Magazine" by suzq044 (second from top).

You cannot get it anywhere ... I photoshopped it from a normal EVO8 MR
and I made up the name for the car That's fun

i voted for drift star... the photoshop work on the cars is great, but you need a better more professional logo

I hate my logo as well ... no idea what to do
