GT4 Problem

Hi everyone, new here!

I've got a problem with my GT4. I bought the game when it first came out and played it alot, had about 50 cars. Then I noticed that the game started loading slower and sometimes the little white clock that is visible when the game is loading turned red. Then, when I inserted the disc, PS2 could not read it. So I rented another GT4, and the same thing happened. I also deleted everything from the memory card, but nothing. So my question is, what's up with it?

I had a similar problem on my friend's PS2. Try cleaning out the inside with a vaccum hose attatchment.💡

q-tip and alcohol. all you need to clean the laser eye. my ps2 still running strong

Unfortunately, it's a very common problem that plagues PS2s.

true since you can open the disc cover like PS1's it's harder to clean

you can try a laser lens disk cleaner i have one works very well

i clean my PS2 every 50 hours of play
