GT4 PS3 glitch O_O

Ok, so last Xmas i got my brand new PS3 *woot* and so i plug it in and play, I play some new PS3 games but then after a while i play GT4 *one of my favourite games*, So im playing it and when im in a race i notice this green flashing in the left corner of the screen, i notice it but think it's just my eyes, second time, i think im getting a migrane O_OO So then i stop my car and look closely at the left corner and i notice it! it looks like the suzuki course flashing green and then turning to another bit of a courses map which is VERY odd, i mean there is a few problems in PS2 games coming to PS3 *eg. Driver Parrellel Lines, THAT GLITCH IS CRAZYYY* So It's a very weird glitch and i'll try and get some pics, So what it is, is that in the top left corner bits of maps from courses come up, it's weird O_O

Does anybody else have a problem like this?

Yeah it happens because the games aren't fully compatible with the PS3. You will find glitches if you go onto any PS2 game on the PS3. Such as Sims 2 gets the same glitches you are on about. There is nothing you can do it fix and and I'm afraid have to just live with it.

Which version of PS3 do you have 40gb/60gb/80gb? Just curious.

I am guessing either you have the 40gb or 80gb vesion.

Never happened to me and I have the 60 GB PS3.

happens to me all the time, my left top corner is like a purple and green mix if colors all the time. i have a 80g

I have the 60GB. I think it depends on where your console comes from i.e PAL/NTSC/JAPAN etc

The 80GB is known to have compatibility issues with GT4. There's a list of the issues on the Sony site somewhere, can't find it off hand.

You wont be able to display the file because its in PS2 compatible format .psv.

But you can use a digital camera to show us.

Its a well known fact that the UK 60GB model and all 80GB models have a problem with a lot of PS2 games because they are running on an emulation.

The US/JPN 60GB and 20GB consoles have an Emotion Engine and Graphics Synthesiser from the PS2 built into them, hence why they dont have as many problems with PS2 games.

ok quick question guys,

i got a Pal 40 gb and cannot play any Ps2 Games and i cant find a thread anywhere regarding that subject.
What do i need to download/have that i can hook up my ps2 games to my ps3?

40gb isnt backwards compatible, so the short answer is no.
