Thank you to all those that voted in the week 10 poll. Congratulations to treefingers as the winner of Week 10 Rally Photomode Competition, any 2 non-racing cars going at it head to head at Citta di Aria. And for those that didn't get a chance to see it, here it is....



As the week 10 winner, he has given us a truly unique mission for week 12 which I think is gonna be a lot of fun for everyone. So, here's what all of us need to do during the next week.......

Week 11 Theme:

ANY car on ANY of the Special Condition tracks.... OUT OF CONTROL. It can be a picture of a slide that you didn't recover from, a bounce off the wall, upside down in the air....ANYTHING that shows the car completely out of control.

1. ONLY photomode pictures will be accepted. NO Photoshop, Photosuite or any other kind of enhancements/modifications allowed.

2. Use only your own pictures.

3. Use only Imageshack Thumbnail for forums (1) link.

4. Only one valid entry per week per person. Once a valid entry has been submitted, it may not be changed.

5. In the spirit of fairness (and anonymity), please don't post your FINAL ENTRY in a thread of any kind until AFTER the winner has been selected. Also, please don't post HM's.

6. A system will be used in which the winner of each week's competition will choose the theme and Top 20 for the next week's competition however, the winner WILL NOT be allowed to re-enter the competition until the following week. The Top 20 entries will be placed in a poll to select that week's winner.

NOTE: If at least 20 entries are not received, ALL entries will be entered into the weekly poll and the previous week's winner will be eligible for entry.

7. As entries are received they will be posted here for your viewing pleasure.

i've discovered a back door in your rules. It states that you can't change your final entry when it is submitted. But when you (accidentally) make it clear wich pic is yours, it's deleted and you may submit another.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.....oh wait wrong forum.

When I first started this competition, part of the rather lengthy rules was that if your entry doesn't fit the theme or there is something else wrong with it that you will have ONE more chance to submit a valid entry. I've only let a few slip through the crack since starting this "new" format and I'm the only one that knows how many I've had to reject and ask for new entries. And let me tell you in amounts to more than just a few. So, I'm letting everyone know without writing it into the rules, that IF there is something not quite "legal" about your entry you'll have one more chance to fix it. Fair enough?

cockpit-view is one thing, but in HELMET? [as well as the levels adjustment he did]..

what was adjusted on it? i remember seeing the orginal and compairing it to some of the others in the thread, only convertables had actually textures inside the cockpit. so, where was the helmet?

all i see is an off center, rectangular area where you can barely make out the Polyphony Formula crashing.. in my mind, that would be what the driver would see.. thus an in-helmet view.. i'm not going to argue this anymore, if the user proves that they didn't mess with it, then i'll call it good.

Upon further review, the first entry (in-car entry) stands as legal and is a Final Entry.

It's way too dark to be good IMO. But the idea and very good, it is just too dark. We can barely see something out of control. People on the right are more visible than the car itself and I don't think they are out of control.

Enough already. The picture is what the user wanted to enter. Just like Slick's competition I won't tolerate bashing of someone else's picture. If you think you can produce a better picture, then please submit an entry and we'll let the voters decide which picture is the better one.

Enough said.

joseph, it doesn't matter what angle you rotate the camera to, the "gran turismo 4" text will always be in that corner.. looks like a track-escape to me..
