Deadline for week 2 will be February 7th, 2007.

There rules are as well applied in the Photomode competition, same rules, same PMC 👍

Besides, the only tools you can use are to adjust the colors so basically it comes down to the same as all other PMC competitions...

Ultrashot, by 'no background change', does that mean that no zoom/motion blur can be used in the BG?

Yey that was my idea that I suggested to Ultrashot! Better get cracking then. One problem I dont have a Group B rally car. Ekkk better get saving.

hmm ... i thought you were going to use the same rules as the regular photo mode comp. why not just just use full open rules instead of the half way/1.5 rules?

As I clearly stated in the intro thread; Rules were differ from week to week so if you don't like that method, then don't enter 💡

Beerzgood, by that I mean that it's not allowed to change your BG, like putting the Eiffeltower in the back of it or something, blurs are not allowed anyway since we're using PMC rules 👍

Cool, altough i'm not in the know of what's group a and what's b.. B must be 80's rally cars mostly right?

Car like the Ford RS200, Delta S4. Basically, all the rally cars you have in your car which have serious horsepower, some have nearly 500 and yes, most of them are from the '80s 👍

There is such thing as a "Group A" rally car but they are rubbish compared to Group B's here is a video of Group B rally cars they are truely awesome just a tip watch the whole video it is well worth it just to hear all them Audi Quattros.

And then this one
Feel the noise

Very nice videos 👍. Shows well what a mad sport rallying was back when. And also that when people remember the Group B era they pretty much always bring up the Toivonen crash that ended it. :(

To be honest I like todays better controlled WRC rally more. Though when it comes to the spectators they seem to be taking the safety to the other extreme nowdays which takes something away from the experience. Still today's rally is quite enough entertaining and, sadly, quite enough dangerous.

For those who did not understand it, at the end of the second video a guy, presumably a rally driver, says something about the Group B cars that 'the speeds were such that you no longer felt you were sitting inside the car'. Must have been pretty crazy driving them 200+ kph on narrow gravel roads. :scared:

great find Speedster...those vids got me inspired 💡
Thanks I thought that might insipre some people for some really good shots.
And Dman that is another idea but in that I have only unlocked the Lancia Delta Intergrale but that is my favourite rally car so...... ......I am going on GT4 will be back in...however long it takes......

Man, those were the days!!! 👍

But like you said, Toivonen's crash and to some extent, that crash in the Portuguese rally that killed all those spectators ended it.

But let's face it, unless the audience was far, far away from the beasts and all the trees were cut off, and much, much more was done, there's no way it could be safe for anyone (drivers incuded), since in the last year of their existence some of the cars already had 600hp+, and Audi had this totally new engine ready for next year's car with about 1000hp. It's just crazy!
Cars that had weights of less than 1000kg with 1000hp engines on gravel, dirt and snow...

Hi i was wondering could we use stock versions of the group b rally cars e.g quattro, R5 turbo etc.

Thanks!!:)

P.s LONG LIVE THE QUATTRO S1!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help I have just discovered that the Lancia Delta Intergrale is a 92' does that mean it doesnt count? Cause otherwise I am doomed unless we can use the versions of the cars without stickers i.e RS200 Road Car

speedster, I'm afraid it doesn't qualify as a Group B car.

Great car, though. Totally ruled the championships until about mid 90's. (If I remember correctly, since I'm getting old really fast).
