Welcome to the voting stage for week 9 of the Rally Photomode Competition.

Another great week of great pictures!! Thanks to all that have continued to support this competition and submit entries throughout the last couple of months. Hopefully we'll have an equal amount of interest in voting for these pictures as we've had for submitting. Remember, no voting for your own picture. And please, no hints as whose picture is who's. I will post all the entries with the name of the entrant after the poll has closed. Thanks again.

👍 Well I finally got a chance to sit down and have a good look at all these pictures and there are some very good ones. My favourites are the B&W Focus over Flugplatz (!), the first pic of the 1999 Imprezza coming up the hill, and of course the cheeky Lancia Stratos poking its nose over the Nurburgring graffiti


👎 However sadly it seems that some people either don't read the rules or just can't resist. Two of those images appear to have been through an image program - one of them even lists Photoshop CS mac as the creating program in its properties...

Yes I found which one it is that has been PS'd. I'm gonna give this some thought as to how to deal with it since it's so late into the voting.

Well, as much as it upsets me to do this, I have to or I wouldn't be doing my job now would I? The fifth picture from the top....yes the leading vote getter....is disqualified for using Photoshop for whatever reason. I know that the people that voted for that picture won't be able to vote again so I apologize for letting that one slip through the cracks. I'll be checking a lot closer from now on so please adhere to the rules before you submit your entry.

Please note that the disqualified picture has been removed. The voters shown on the new fifth one from the top do not count towards the total. The corect total for that picture is the number shown to the right. Please continue to look over our remaining entries and vote for the one you think is best. Thank you.

Too bad that the leading picture was disqualified.

Looking through the pictures, the number to the right of each picture looks correct as to how many people selected that picture....however starting on the 5th picture it is off by one. ismo, Zubicar voted for the 2nd to last pic, and so on.

OK gang. I was wrong. It's not pretty but at least I admit it when I've done something wrong. In order to try and fix this I've added an edit at the beginning of this thread to try and rectify my error. I'm still pretty new at all this so please bear with me and this comp while we get all the wrinkles ironed out. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Yes the wrongly DQ'd picture is legal and still the top vote getter.
