Quick guide to replay checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Sports - Hard and that the power is 90 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle

Stunning race total there Hugo I totally gave up when I saw your laps earlier in the week and guessed you would have 2 secs on me overall but that total time is simply amazing 👍 ( I had a 6'07.1xx with a 3 wheel incident as my best ever that was still miles off the pace )
Congrats to the other Divison winners Gingiba and Hydrox also 👍

I made my replay early to be prepared this week Interesting combo with a unbeatable winner overall I reckon .. Top marks

Congrats to: "Hugo the amazing!!" Gingiba and Hydr0x for some nice driving. Mr. P you didn't so bad yourself there mate but you were running against a phenom in Hugo this week......

Here's my replay. Trust I was able to load the correct version.

Now we need to really fasten the seatbelts and hang on!

Jerry, I just want to let you know that I WOULD have raced if I had more time on my hands, but I think I'm kind of whittling my way out of GT4 for now, need to try to find my way in life and first get a couple of cars worked on and sold...

Although I enjoyed my limited time doing this race, I didn't have enough time to put it all together: AI lineup; Good lap times; Good passes. I seemed to be getting quicker around the track, but once I got into a good rhythm I would either run into the ai, or run out of time. I had one good race, and probably should have submitted it, but it would have put me in last place.

GT4 died on me last night...picking up a new copy today...I'm pretty sure I was in the 6.12-14 range though....so probably DFL in D2.

Congrats to all the winners, nice work this week. Initially I wasn't too keen on running, but I found it took less time than normal for me to get my times down-must be all the practice I have driving underpowered front drivers in real life. I saw a 54.7XX lap one and could pull off a 51.9 lap without traffic, but I could never combine those with a full run. Average laps were around 52.4XX.

Looking forward to all the downforce this week..........

the fact that i ordered a max drive from play.com three weeks ago (tomorrow) which still hasn't arrived :/ i'll be able to claim a lost parcel tomorrow and hopefully i'll get a new one within the next 2 weeks... can't upload any replays until then i'm afraid

the point you might want to take, dear steward, is IMHO not the fact that this race was arcade/race/7 laps but that it was in an unracer located at an untrack

Just watched your replay, Ron. Doesn't look that different from mine, except that I used 2nd gear too Feel free to make a replay of my run, but it doesn't offer much extra over yours 👍

It's a Go-Kart track, Steven. Not really an untrack I really liked it.
Too bad we have don't have many race fans in the WRS, otherwise we could have more races like this

I'm afraid I may have to be DQ'd 🤬

Last night I tried to save my replay and it has apparemtly dissapeared.

My first mistake was choosing "Move" rather than "Copy" (this was only my second time using the AR Max); but the real problem came when the screen indicated it was finished, I then looked at what was in my USB drive and it was empty - and since I chose move the replay was also no longer in my GT4 memory.

Anyway, if anyone has any possible solutions to this dilemma I'd be most appreciative to hear about them.

Haven't touched gt4 for a while. I actually had a go at this one but fell ill and couldn't submit well until now which doesnt really count.

I got a 6'09.076 and i couldn't be bothered to find my max drive. I've lost all my stuff since i started uni.

Anyway good to see that i can still come in about the middle of the pack of div 1 without even playing. But bad to see i still got flogged by 4 seconds overall.

This is a program that i have used for restoring files on flash memory devices. Note if u formatted you memory this wont work.
Damn stupid 100kb limit i'll find it on the web for you.

Too bad 2078TM.
What you need to check is that the MAX Drive is unlocked. There's a sneaky little slider on one side of it that can get switched to locked without you noticing. (I've done it accidentally just plugging the drive in or pulling it out, since it's on the side, where you'd normally grip it! ) If it's locked, I don't believe it will allow data to be written to it, although it doesn't actually go out of its way to inform you of this, by giving warning messages or anything.
The MAX Drive manual is soooooo awful, it doesn't actually explain anything about the fact that files are automatically crushed when copying to the drive, and that you must uncrush them back to the Mem Card, not just copy them, otherwise you end up with a Mem Card of crushed data (which is useful for maximising storage space though) which can't be read by PS2 games.

Personally, I liked this sort of race a lot more than simple hotlapping in a 1000HP monster. Too bad I'm in the minority here, and don't have as much time to spend WRSing as I used to. To my mind, even though we had a car set up with a huge advantage over the 5 AI drivers, this was truly a Weekly Race event, not just a series of laps run compared to previous ghosts and other drivers split times.
