Quick guide to replay checking:

1. check the race summary, check that the tyres are Racing-Medium and that the power is 1069 hp
2. firstly, check the replay from the farthest top view (press R1 twice as soon as the race starts then X if you need to switch to the outside camera)
3. secondly, check the replay from the same view but in reverse (press L1)
4. if you suspect more than two wheels leave the track, freeze the replay ('Select' button) to enter photomode
5. if you suspect contact with a wall, check the data logger for any sudden spike in the cars speed under full throttle

incredible close finishes with almost all division finishes within one second of each other - not counting sammy but she is ill so ...

I have to say I am shocked to see that I got silver. I was so disgusted with my splits that I considered not submitting at all - must have been a pretty third sector I guess.

congrats to all who entered.. I didn't put a lot of effort into this so I am surprised about the silver as well. I also tried to run as smooth as possible to maintain some reality with this unreal car Here is my replay.

Sweet, a silver this week. Nice driving by the speedy folks, I just could not run under a 9.1 T1 no matter what I tried for gearing. Ended up using 380 with my faulty paddle shifters, running with the automatic the my best time was over .5 second slower-needed third gear in the tighter corners and it kept downshifting me to second and upsetting the car right at midcorner.

Still on vacation in Ohio but, couldn't help myself, just had to stop in and see the results. Fortunately my son-in-law has a box and gt4, might even get some runs in this week.....

Heck, might buy him a maxdrive and get him in here while I'm at it. I'd just love to kick his butt in public so to speak, on second thought I might get mine handed to me eh??

Interesting results... Double-podium for Ron and Kelly, plus a nice Photomode win 👍
Extremely close racing here, but it seems like a single corner can make a huge difference in this car. Kinda scary, the amounts of control and focus you need to keep such a beast on the road - and there are only 40 seconds to do that. Must've been very intense...

I myself had a 45.xxx as my fastest - and it included a spin and some very careful driving. So I didn't go on after the first 10 laps...

And NightmareHunter - Fresh promotions are always a pain. My first week in Div2 was celebrated by coming in last, by a margin

Yup, I asked Sphinx via PM and he made it clear that even GTP staff and former WRS stewards are subject to random replay verifications.

In the past I had hoped my poor performances would be accepted and eventually over-looked because I was trusted and consistantly lossing in my division.
Turns out I'm just another racer.
(hard to remember that sometimes)

As I wrote to sphinx, I believe this is the kind of situation that shows what kind of racer should take place in the WRS...
Surely the fast and "dead serious" but certainly not racers like myself.
I put in 2 or 3 days, at most, on this race and ended up having to spend as much time as I did racing, trying to get my Maxdrive to run (as to clear my name).

Point is, lesson learned; don't run if you aren't ready to prove you aren't a cheat (even if you think people trust you, you need to be prepared to go by the book).

Even though it seems like I consider this a bad thing (I'm sure sphinx probably feels that way as I compared this event to a random drug screen), but in actuality I consider this a good thing... This sort of practice helps show that the WRS is full of clean, honest racers who are willing to prove their work is legit when they are called-on to do so. 👍

Any way, thanks again for checking my replay and confirming that I don't cheat (arora), and likewise, thanks for answering my question...

I understand the idea of random non-gold laps being requested. What I asked is how the "Random" replays are selected.
Like, does everyone get a number from 1 to 7 and Sphinx roles a set of dice to find the random lap or is it a computer program where he enters all the names and the program selects names at random.

So any word on how the random selections are made will be appreciated (as it will satisfy my curiousity regarding this random request policy).
